Hi Asad, I'm sorry to tell you that SL dv280 and SL dv290 are not compatible, they have the same connector, but different signal configuration Do not try to test, because you could damage the devices To work well, you must replace all of the devices with those of line 290 Regards Franco Dosil Hola Asad, lamento decirte que no son compatibles el SL dv280 y el SL dv290, tienen el mismo conector, pero distinta configuracion de se?ales No intentes probar, porque podrias perjudicar los aparatos Para que funcione bien, deberas reemplazar la totalidad delos aparatos por los de la linea 290 Saludos Franco Dosil http://www.vintageshifi.com/repertoire-pdf/pdf/telecharge.php?pdf=Technics-SLDV-280-GN-Service-Manual.pdf https://elektrotanya.com/technics_sl-dv290_sm_html.rar/download.html

Problem with unstable pitch in Technics SL 1200 MK2 turntable

Hi Thomas, as you say, it's not the engine, nor the integrated engine Most likely, the pitchel potentiometer that generates the problem I would try to clean it, applying a small amount of contact cleaner and test if there are improvements Keep in mind that it is the Pitch potentiometer that is changing the speed Comment if the suggestion served Regards Franco Dosil Hola Thomas, por lo que comentas, no es el motor, ni el integrado del motor Lo mas seguro es que el potenciometro de pitch el que genera el problema Yo intentar?a limpiarlo, aplic?ndole una peque?a cantidad de limpiador de contactos y probar?a si hay mejoras Ten en cuenta que es el potenciometro de Pitch el que va modificando la velocidad Comenta si sirvi? la sugerencia Saludos Franco Dosil https://www.manualslib.com/manual/387776/Technics-Sl-1200mk2.html

My technics su-x501 amplifier cuts out after playing for 2-3 minutes, might be something getting hot and cutting out, any ideas

Hi Les, as a first step, I would disconnect the speaker cables in the Technics su-x501 and test if the same thing happens, if so, there could be a problem with the power supply or also with the speaker output If it does not turn off, then I would start checking the speaker cables, along the way, in case there is any peeling, which could cause overheating Once the cables were checked, I would connect the speakers one by one and test with each new reconnection until the source of the fault was detected I hope you can solve the problem Regards Franco Dosil Hola Les, como primera medida, desconectaria los cables de los bafles en el Technics su-x501 y probaria si pasa lo mismo, si es asi, podria haber problema en la fuente de alimentacion o tambien en la salida de parlantes Si no se apaga, entonces comenzaria a revisar los cable de los bafles, en su recorrido, por si hay alguna peladura, que podria generar un recalentamiento Una vez revisado los cables, iria conectando de a uno los parlantes e iria probando con cada nueva reconexion hasta detectar el origen de la falla Espero que puedas resolver el problema Saludos Franco Dosil https://elektrotanya.com/technics_su-x501_sm.pdf/download.html https://elektrotanya.com/technics_su-x501_sch.pdf/download.html

I plugged my audio technics turntable into my computer but get no sound although the speakers work ok

Check the audio settings on the PC, sometimes different inputs require different settings. There should be input setting alternatives in the audio section in the control panel on your PC.

Hi Jan, there is a fuse that you should check, if it was burned, replace it only by one of equal size, never of greater value, it could be drastic The switch of your Technics, is electronic, works with a relay that connects the power to the main transformer This electronic ignition is powered from an auxiliary transformer (Stanby) If you hear a noise when you press the Power key, it means that the relay is working and you should check the fuse that tells you If you do not hear anything, the auxiliary transformer could be wrong I sent you the link of the service manual of the Technics SA-GX690, which is the same in this part of the circuit I hope you can solve the problem Greetings Franco Dosil Hola Jan, hay un fusible que deberias revisar, si estuviera quemado, reemplazalo solamente por uno de igual medida, nunca de mayor valor, podr?a ser dr?stico El interruptor de tu Technics, es electr?nico, trabaja con un rele que conecta la alimentaci?n al transformador principal Este encendido electr?nico esta alimentado desde un transformador auxiliar (Stanby) Si escuchas un ruido cuando presionas la tecla de Power, quiere decir que el rele esta trabajando y deberias revisar el fusible que te comente Sino escuchas nada, podr?a estar mal el transformador auxiliar Te env?o el link del manual de servicio del Technics SA-GX690, que es igual en esta parte del circuito Espero puedas resolver el problema Saludos Franco Dosil https://www.vintageshifi.com/repertoire-pdf/pdf/telecharge.php?pdf=Technics-SAGX-690-Service-Manual.pdf https://www.vintageshifi.com/repertoire-pdf/pdf/telecharge.php?pdf=Technics-SAGX-690-Owners-Manual.pdf

Technics cassette deck RS-M7 makes loud buzzing sound when pressing play, ffw, rec, or rew. Both meters also peak out when this happens.

Hello Johnny, for what you comment, the noise Leo produces the Rec-Play key inside your RS-M7 Take out the lid and you'll find on the main plate, a long piece of metal, that on the Rec-Play key Use some contact cleaner or a couple of drops of DW-40 and apply them by one of the ends of the key, With the equipment off, put a cassette and press the keys Rec and Play, then Stop and repeat the sequence several times, you will see that the key moves a slide, where you put the cleaner Then connect again, turn on Play and it should work fine If not, consult a specialized technical service I hope I can solve the problem Greetings Franco Dosil Hola Johnny, por lo que comentas, el ruido leo produce la llave Rec-Play dentro de tu RS-M7 S?cale la tapa y vas a encontrar en la placa principal, una pieza met?lica larga, esa en la llave Rec-Play Utiliza alg?n limpiador de contactos o un par de gotas de DW-40 y aplicarlas por alguno de los extremos de la llave, Con el equipo apagado, pon un cassette y presiona las teclas Rec y Play, luego Stop y repites la secuencia varias veces, veras que en la llave se desplaza una corredera, donde haz puesto el limpiador Luego conecta nuevamente , prende pon Play y deber?a funcionar bien Sino es as?,consulta un servicio t?cnico especializado Espero pueda resolver el problema Saludos Franco Dosil

I have a technics SA-EX100 I had a electrical problem and 380v we into it. The 2 caps popped and I replaced them but now it has an overload error. What can I do to reset it?

Hello Sergren, the indication of overload, can come for several reasons 1) The fan motor, outside resistive value is usually between 20 and 30 ohms, to measure it you must disconnect it from the circuit, if it is out of value you must replace it, it is very important that you get the same type of motor or fan assembly 2) The damaged output circuit, you can access the legs of the integrated power circuit RSN3305, taking off the lid that is in the base of the equipment, you must cut the grips that it brings, once the lid is removed, the legs of the integrated circuit are undone and remove it, then test the equipment that does not overload the display, if it does not appear the problem is in the output integrated and you must replace it Several offers of sale of this integrated appear in Internet, confirms that it is a new and original spare, there are many that offer spare parts of disarmament I sent you the link to download the SA-EX100 service manual I hope you can solve the problem Greetings Franco Dosil Hola Sergren, la indicaci?n de sobrecarga, puede venir por varios motivos 1)El motor del ventilador, fuera de valor resistivo habitualmente esta entre 20 y 30 ohm, para medirlo debes desconectarlo del circuito, si esta fuera de valor debes reemplazarlo, es muy importante que consigas el mismo tipo de motor o conjunto ventilador 2)El circuito de salida da?ado, puedes acceder a las patas del circuito integrado de potencia RSN3305, sacando la tapa que esta en la base del equipo, debes cortar los agarres que trae, una vez retirada la tapa, desuelda las patas del circuito integrado y ret?ralo, luego prueba el equipo que no se presente sobrecarga en el display, si no aparece el problema esta en el integrado de salida y debes reemplazarlo Aparecen en Internet varias ofertas de venta de este integrado, confirma que sea un repuesto nuevo y original, hay muchos que ofrecen repuestos de desarme Te env?o el link para que descargues el manual de servicio del SA-EX100 Espero que puedas resolver el problema Saludos Franco Dosil https://data2.manualslib.com/pdf3/69/6884/688325-technics/saex100.pdf?ac550d3bf2c5faf4d499661b57cadb92&take=binary
