I have a Roady in my car and recently I have been

It is surely the antennae. I have had to replace mine a few times too. The thing is, where it bends, like near the plug connection and near the actual antennae wire connection, it just fractures a bit and that's it.
Pick yourself up a new one on eBay or Amazon, and no, there aren't really heavy duty ones and that wouldn't fix it, it is the wire getting worn.
Good luck!

My Roady XT turns itself off after 2 hours.

There can be several causes for this, few of which you can do anything about. However, a few things to try.

1) Replace the batteries on your remote control.
2) Try resetting the logic functions on your tv by unplugging it for a minute, then plugging it back in.
3) Try covering up the infra-red receptor on the front of your TV to see if you're getting unwanted signals from the receptor. taping a piece of foil over that area is perfect. If it doesn't stop after doing these two things you'll probably need to take it to a shop.
4) If this does stop it, then look for unexpected signal sources. Have you added a remote control extender? Added a new device to your audio-video system? Changed to a new remote?

Good luck with your problem...I hope you can work it out.

Your antenna needs to be facing southwest. Try to find a window in your classroom that faces that way. Another way around this if you don't have a southwest facing window is to get the XM repeater that will allow you to have the antenna in one room, and your receiver in another. I have two (one at home, and one in my store, and they work great).

Yes, go to "Radio-Locator.com" - they have a selection for finding unused FM frequencies in your area. Actually, your radio will sound better using an "AUX" input or a cassette tape adapter.

You need a 'dock' for use in your car or at home, an antenna specific for home or for car, and a power supply, also specific for home or for car. Oh, And a subscription too!

Its probably time to just replace it. They are not worth repairing. If you contact XM customer service they may offer you one at a discount. They replaced one of mine for $20. I thought that was a fair deal.

The display is "Antenna".

Connect either the internal or external antenna depending on indoor or outdoor use. Make sure the cable and connectors are not damaged or kinked. That is the trouble shooting steps to take. If you still have problems you may want to try a different antenna from there you may need to repair/replace your unit depending on age and if it's under warranty. If you need any further assistance please let me know.
Thank you,

Unit will not power up

check fuse in power cord if using in car adapter. unscrew the silver ring at the tip of the cigarette plug DO NOT ALLOW THE SPRING TO SHOOT OUT WITH THE SILVER CONTACT PIECE INSIDE! remove the spring and contact piece then remove the fuse, look to see if it is scorched, you will either see black soot on the glass or a break in the wire that runs through the glass tube. Hold it up to the light. See if you can tell where the brreak is. Sometimes the break is at the verry top and you cant see so just replace the fuse with a new one form the hardware store, ETC. replace fuse spring contact tip and retainer ring then plug in and try again.

Roady XT "Antenna" problem

one of 3 things, either your antenna is not insight of a skies view to receive the signal, or its wire is broken at the antenna, but if you remove the antenna connection frequently it pulls the center wire out of the connection on the end that fits into the radio when its plugged in push on the conductor at the back of the plug and see if this helps, alos if connection is loose take a safety pin and carefully between the outer plug case ans the ground fingers around the center pin push these in so you get a better ground, and lastly try another substitute antenna, I have re-soldered my connections numerous times to fix this issue, delphi doesn't make a very rugged product, good luck

My delphi roady plays through cassette adaptor.

You need to cycle back through after puttung the cassette in. Mine did that (before the cassette feature stopped working altogether) and I would press my "source" button so it would go from the cassette to the radio, then CD and back to the cassette - the sound would be back to normal again.

Need a instruction manual

go the the XMradio.com website, and you can find a link for all the Delphi radios. You can also go to XM411.com or XMfan.com buzzboards and ask there, and they will point it out to you. If you have any specific questions on your Roady XT, I can help you too; just let me know. Best wishes,
