Fitting a door to Kenwood dishwasher KDW243A

Hello, Found this while looking for the answer myself. The vanity door fell off last night onto my foot and so needs must as it really hurt!Anyway there are 2 top pillars that fit into the upper appliance door. Then there are two plates that need to set to finished height. To fit. First insert the top pillars into the large openings. Now open the dishwasher door a bit, took two of us to get this right, and push the vanity door as high up as you can. Next slide the door back down and gently push the bottom plates into the recesses on the appliance door.Job done! Well almost. When you have got this far open the dishwasher door completely. You will see a plastic white cover caps on either side of the door. Remove these and drop a screw into the hole.. Make sure you measure the screw against the vanity door so that the screw does not go all the way through!! Now screw the appliance door to the vanity door.. Now the job is now complete! Hope this helps!

My 12,000 btu air conditioner

It is supposed to "leak" water into its reservoirand it needs to be dumped when it gets full. That water is the humidity thatthe a/c is pulling form the air inside your home. As long as it's going intothe reservoir and not leaking onto your floor then it is working properly, alsotry to clean kinked if it found clogged. Tosolve the automatic shut down problem, you need to clean your air conditionerin proper way. Hope this will help you. Good Luck.

How do I correctly drain

Yes the tank does need to be drained. There is a short drain hose that was supplied with the unit. It attaches to the hose connection the back of the unit. Use a 5 gallon bucket to drain it with the hose.

Or iis you rather, you can just pull out the tank and dump it in the sink or a tub. Be sure to turn the unit OFF and unplug it, before removing the water collection tank.

I have included a link to the Owner's Manual for a model similar to yours. The instrcutions will be the same. Copy and paste the link into your web browser.

What would cause this

A couple of things could cause that problem;

1. A dirty or clogged air intake filter. Remove, check and clean the filter if necessary.

2. The unit is operating in Dehumidifier Mode rather than AC Cooling mode. Check the settings on the control panel. If in Dehumidify Mode, the AC will not turn ON, but the fan blower will remain ON.

3. A clogged exhaust hose to the window. Remove the hose and check for obstructions.

4. The temperature setting on the Control Panel may accidentally be set to high. Check the temperature setting.

The 4- things listed above are where you need to start troubleshoot the unit. If One of the is not the problem, the compressor may need a recharge of refrigerant. Depending on how old the unit is.

Hope this helps you to troubleshoot and solve the problem. Please let me j=know. Thanks.

Do we need to use both hoses?

You could draw the air from inside however the system works much more effeciently with 2 hoses.
The air that is drawn into the unit and heated then exhausted back outside. If you don't use the second hose all the air that is exhausted will have to be drawn in around windows and doors or othe voids in the area. This would draw in warm moist air that would then have to be cooled and dehumidified.

No cold air coming out of air conditioner, Danby DPAC120061

Most likely 1 of 2 problems. A themostat problem isn't calling for cold air but most likely you are low on refrigerant. I don't know when you bought the unit but they offer a 24 month warranty on parts and labor. They've also discontinued the unit so I'd call for service if you're still covered right away.
