Make sure there is a paddle inside the drum, the paddle is a baffle plate on the inside of the drum that helps to avoid this.

Can I change my WASHER cord to fit regular plug in

You could but you need to be sure the voltage is the same. Then it it is the same you can a new cord with the right plug on it. You will have to take the protecting plug connection by removing screws holding plate on, then there are three nuts that you remove to get the cord off. make sure you mark the wires color position on the three lugs After pulling the cord off you reinstall the new cord and tighten the lugs down and that's it. If your unsure about the voltage and don't own a meter it would be best to let a Handyman do it that is license and bonded.

Asko Dryer T711 relay chattering near the end of a cycle I

relays only have a specified life of x amount of switches x depending on the style and manufacturer, so there is a good chance it will fail eventually, if you know someone technically minded you could get them to change the relay which would be cheaper than the board its fitted too, as its at the end of the cycle i would guess it controls the heater as it cools down near the end to stop you buring yourself on the drum.

Asko superior 7004 heats, but drum will not rotate.

Sounds like the belt is broken. See if there is a trouble door in the back so you can inspect the belt. If it is broken, get a new one from the dealer, and ask for instructions for replacement. If you can only get the belt, google your unit for more help.

I have an asko dryer

Try taking the lint filter out and gently washing it with a soft scrubber. The screening is very fine and it might look clean to sight but might still need a more thorough cleaning.

i had the same problem. remove the 2 screws on the bottom panel. pull out bottom panel. turn the 2 red knobs counter clockwise. pull out condenser pack. rinse condenser under running water in the shower. out will come the biggest dust bunny you have ever seen in your life. re-install condenser and you are good to go. there is a step by step in the user manual under the maintenance section.

Runs but does not heat

HI,

If your dryer doesn't heat, check these:

Power from the house Check to see whether there's power getting to the dryer. Is it plugged in? Check for blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers--your dryer uses two fuses or circuit breakers. The dryer could tumble but not heat if only one of the two fuses is blown. If you have circuit breakers, one of the two circuit breakers can trip, even if the two for the dryer are connected.

Heating element Often a dryer heating element burns out, but doesn't trip the circuit breaker or blow a fuse. The heating element is simply a long coil of special wire. You can check it for continuity with an ohm meter. No continuity means the element is bad and you need to replace it--electric heating elements aren't repairable.

Thermal fuse On many dryers, there's a thermal fuse mounted to the exhaust duct inside the back cover panel. The fuse--which is about an inch long--is usually embedded in black resin and mounted in a white plastic housing. If the fuse has blown, you need to replace it. (You can't re-set it.)

Wiring A common problem is for the main wiring connection from the house, at the dryer, to burn and break its connection. Because the dryer can still tumble with partial power, the connection may be only partially defective. You may need to replace both the power cord to the dryer and the terminal block inside the dryer that the wire is attached to.
