Asko T781 Electric Dryer Doesn't Turn On
Have you reset the cut out on the back? its a little black button that you push in until it clicks. If it does not click, then it probably wasnt the problem. The next most likely cause is a melted fuse holder inside the box on the rear where the power cord goes in. There is a bypass kit available to repair this problem from ASKO, as the fuses are not needed. If you are able to do some simple wiring, you can do this. Otherwise find an AUTHORIZED asko servicer and they will know what I'm talking about. Good luck!

I have an ASKO T781 Dryer that suddenly will not
I just had this same problem, The fuses were not attached to anything. I stumbled upon a black button, that looks sort of like a gromet. Push that, it's a reset button. If it clicks, there you go. It could mean something else is wrong, but that should be a starting place.

The display doesn't work
Asko are not very common in many areas and so not many people can mentally remember what this model looks like. However, if the display doesn't not work: Try unplugging it for five minutes or just removing the power for that time. See if it resets. Not sure what 'does not work' means...no light, no response to touch..respond but does not start..???Give more info if you seriously nee people who are not at the machine to help you.

Drum makes a clunking sound when rotating, even when empty
This machine has roller wheels in the front that are not adjustable, but rather need to be replaced if they have a bad spot or something. Usually what I see with a clunking noise(clunks once or maybe two quick clunks in succession) is that the dryer has been set down hard on the ground and has put two dents in the roller surface of the drum. To check this, just unplug it, pop the top off (3 screws in the back and tilt it up) and look at the very front edge of the drum. rotate the drum by hand (carefully so you dont pop off the belt) and look for any imperfections in the suface, such as dents. If you are getting more of a vibration type of noise, I would also suggest taking off the lower front cover then taking of the blower wheel cover located to the left side and checking that there is no lint built up in the blower wheel as well. Good Luck!

My Asko T781 Dryer keeps
Check the exhaust vents for any obstruction of lint inside of it. Lint holds moister & the moister sensor will shut down the dryer

Asko T780 Dryer Vibrating/Grinding noise
Sounds like a bad roller. You'll have to remove the drum to get at them. Even a free one may make noise at speed. Use high temp grease. Also check roundness. And don't forget the belt tensioner roller, just don't get any grease where the belt touches.

Asko T781 dryer trips on over temperature
The problem is probably that it is much lint in the fan, and/or in the back of the drum, so the air is unable to cirkulate fast enough. OR it can be that you are overfilling it with laundry.
