Replacing light bulb

Open the door, remove the cover and have a few buddies spin the dryer in a counter-clock wise when viewing from the back. Remember you have to grab the bulb and hold it while they spin the dryer.

Asko Dryer #7305 and F5 code...

Hi, Based on the explaination in your post I guess the unit will operate without anything in the dryer, correct ? If that is the case if you remove the lower panel you will reveal a plastic cover over the blower housing. Located on the housing you will find the moisture sensor usually hidden under some black puddy. Remove the gum type puddy and there you will find the sensor held in place. Remove the sensor and clean it out best as you can. Re-install the moisture sensor and give it a test. If that fails to remedy the problem you may indeed require a new sensor. Let me know and I can provide you with a part number or you can visit "repairclinic.com" and enter your model number and a description of the part you need. Hope this was helpful to you. Let me know or rate my info accordingly. Thanks for visiting "fixya" today and good luck. macmarkus :)

High limit thermostat

A year ago, I needed to replace a high limit thermostat, and I received ( for the money) both the high and the low!. I replaced the high therm., and a month later, the low one went out. I discovered these need to be replaced as a pair only. Be blessed.

Asko Dryer t760 program menu

Welcome to FixYa.

By stating "the dryer does work" indicates it is likely an issue with programming.

What are the chances you have the menu lock-out option turned "on"...also referred to as "child lock".

You may quickly rule this out or confirm it is the problem indeed, by trying this.

1. Turn the machine off then on.
2. Press ENTER five times, then press P3 five
times. (This must be done within 15 seconds.)
3. “Delayed start” displays with “0” flashing in the
lower right corner. Press the Right Arrow button
to toggle the display to “3.”

**NOTE: Child-Safe Menu Button**
Please note that when you set the child-safe Start
button, the Menu button is automatically
programmed to delay for three seconds before it
becomes active. This prevents a child from
accidentally changing the program settings.
When you want to change a program, press the Menu
button for three seconds to activate the menus. The
Menu button will work normally (without the
three-second delay) until you have completed your
changes. If it is not pressed for two minutes, it will
automatically revert back to the child-safe mode.

Let me know if this indeed solves the problem but either way please keep me posted.

Thank you for choosing FixYa and good luck.

It seems that the main board, the program controller unit is a suspect and to confirm you need to remove the customer control panel and check . Check the +5 to the processor, check the connectors and the power supply, check for leak in the storage electronic capacitors, check for faulty voltage to the control board.- check rectifier and regulators. If not the fault can be the processor which must be confirmed with a data check or oscillations of the crystal.
