Hi Jim.A dishwasher may clean poorly for a number of different reasons. Before replacing parts or looking for a fault I suggest going through the following checklist:

1. Make sure you are not using a rinse only cycle, test using Hi Temp Wash cycle and Hi Scrub.
2. Check that you are using proper detergent, as suggested in the manual.
3. Make sure you are using rinse aid.
4. Make sure that dishes and pans are correctly positioned in the baskets.
5. Check if stains go away when you soak the glasses in vinegar. In that case the problem is hard water. Correct the amount of detergent as from page 7 on manual.
6. Check that the arms are free to rotate.
7. Check for leaks in the duct to the upper spray arms, make sure that the upper spray arm is well mounted.
8. Make sure that incoming water from the house has pressure and that hot water has about 120F(50C).
9. Check for food obstruction in the drain or disposer.
10. Check that the drain hose at the back is not kinked.
11. Check that the machine is completing the cycle.
12. Try running a light cycle with both sides of the detergent cup filled with soda or Jet Cleaner product.

If none of the above is the problem, then the most common faults with this model that result in incorrect cleaning are caused by the following parts. Please refer to the part manual to find diagrams and part location.

1. Accumulator Filter (part 7 in Pump and motor diagram)
2. Docking Station with Flappers(part 3 in Water Distribution Assembly)
3. Seal and Chopper Kit (part 9 in Pump and motor diagram)
4. Wash Impeller(part 6 in Water Distribution Assembly)

Turn off curcuit breaker. Mop up suds and water with towel. Remove kick panel mop up water here and dry out with a fan. Replace Kick Panel. Reset Curcuit breaker. Add one cup of Vingar to bottom of tub. Run a rinse and hold cycle. Repeat if necessary.

Hi.

The most common cause for the problem is a defective pressure switch. The pressure switch is used by electronic control to detect water level and stop the drain pump. If the switch is defective, the pump may stop too early.

The pump is not turned on when the what is sloshed around. It is the wash motor which turns the arms around. It is likely something is stuck under the washer arms or the washer motor bearing is faulty.

If the dishwasher is only about 2 years old, I would suggest you call Maytag for warranty service. Depending on the part they will have different warranty time period. Normally 2 years should be a general policy .

it sounds like the touchpad is gone,phone the manufacture and see how much it will cost ,and then take it from there

Wish my issue were that easy...

I have had the board replaced 5 times and the entire dishwasher replaced once. It was necessary to go to the state attorney general to get Maytag to extend the warranty. Just called the service center for the sixth time, after this the warranty will be gone and will replace with something well built.

When I searched the parts list for your dishwasher, I only found the door panel available in white but call the manufacturer and ask them because I believe you may be able to change to stainless.

I suspect something hard like a fragment of chicken bone or a citrus seed is at the inlet to the drain pump (my favorite was a plastic pull strip from a frozen juice concentrate can - that was LOUD). Many dishwashers have a chopper similar to that in a garbage disposal right before the pump inlet, but some things like bone won't go through it. It could be something light enough to float and only hits the pump when the water level drops. You may have to remove the pump cover in the bottom of the dishwasher to find it. This would be a good time to clean any garbage out of the lower spray arm and check the spray arm bushing for excess wear.
