01 is a door switch fault. it is possible that the switch is corroded and the moisture is causing it to fail, making the machine think the door is open, and it will stop and tell you this. if you can open the door, and inspect the switch, see if it clicks when pushed.

You need to switch the machine off at the wall and leave it off for a few seconds. Open the door. Switch the machine back on again and close the door firmly. It should be o.k.

My F & Paykel washer did this. There was a baby sock under the wash basin. I called for repairman and he found the problem.

The pump itself is supposed to run during the fill portion of the REGULAR cycle. It is supposed to be mixing the incoming fresh water with your laundry detergent and pouring the solution on your clothes as the tub rotates slowly. If the water is draining out of the machine, then there has been some sort of issue with the DIVERTER VALVE. It either has a broken lever on it or an object has become wedged in it, holding it open all the time. If you try the PERMA PRESS cycle, you will probably find that cycle will work, as it does not use the recirculate function.

I would check the diverter valve first. You can tip the washer back and remove the hose clamps with no tools and shine a light up inside and look for an object. You also can inspect the lever and will clearly see if it is broken.

If the washer needs a diverter valve, the part number is a 426862P and is easy to change. You can get them from Fisher Paykel Parts:

most likely you have a bad drain pump.or its possible you have foreign objects inside the drain pump preventing it from operating

rotary position sensor fault. underneath the machine. Unbolt plastic cover with 16mm socket all of the plastic will come off. Undo four 10mm bolts around shaft. Pull off the big round thingy with cooper wire on it carefully. The purple wire is connected to the sensor which looks like a computer card and fits between the copper things ,pull up the sensor carefully and unpug the connection clean off the blue stuff on contacts,use electrical spray cleaner. Put back together in reverse.

code 49 is a faulty cold water valve fault code. If you replaced both the valves, the wires and plugs to them are ok and it's still not working then you need to replace the Main Motor Controller module, there's no way to reset this fault sorry.

Comments: Aug 03, 2009 - if it still doesnt work reset the machine by turning it off at the wall and waiting 2mins and start again. If that doesnt work the sensor may need replacing.

A couple things to check, is it actually turning on the drain pump? Is the water valve leaking by?

The clear pressure tube to the motor controller is dirty or blocked.Blow air down the pipe to dislodge any blockage & refit the pipe.

It can be due to insufficient RPM of the dryer or due to water logging within the drum.Please check this link for tips:Pump Check the drive for jamming of the spindle.

Your water inlet valve is likely defective. The supply hoses behind the machine lead to the watervalve.
