The keyboard just stopped working.
Update your keyboard drivers. You only needy our mouse for that. Go to E-Machines homepage and search for your model number, then look for keyboard drivers. Good luck to you!

Keyboard types very slowly and
Sounds like you have too many things running possibly that's slowing the system down. You can try downloading malware bytes from
www.malwarebytes.org and running a scan to remove any malware you might have. If that doesn't work, try that keyboard on another system to see if the problem is with your keyboard or with your computer.
My keyboard will not type
It looks as though you have an incorrect language set selected. At the foot of the screen you will see "EN" for English for example - - just double click on the icon for whatever one you see and from them you can open the language tool bar and change the settings to suit.
How do i get the question mark.
shift + / those two when done together, should give you the ? that you are seeking. Being an e-machine, they probably didn't print the ? symbol on the key to save a coupla bucks.
Several keys on my keyboard
try blowing out all of the dust from your keyboard using a fine air blower from an air compressor making VERY sure there is no MOISTURE in the lines.
dust causes static which causes lots of problems with a computer and its parts
or if this does not fix the problem
click start control panel keyboard you can change your settings there
or you might have uninstall the keyboard restart your computer then reinstall it and its drivers
click start control panel keyboard hardware then properties you should see driver details,update driver,roll back driver,uninstall
make sure you have the driver for the keyboard before uninstalling the driver
make sure the lead is good and has a secure connection diconnect the keyboard then reconnect it then reinstall the driver
you could run the check disk utility
click start run type cmd then type chkdsk/r/f which will scan for and attempt to repair any bad sectors and automatically fix any corrupt files on your hard drive then defragment your hard drive or
control panel administrive tools,computer management ,disk management right click on your drive select properties click tools you should see click check now click start two boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors place then a tick in both boxes then select check now,start should schedule this task when restart

Sorry to read about your problem, I hope this helps you out.
you should not need any drivers, for basic operation. and since you tried 2, i think you have a defective mother board, you can maybe try a usb keyboard, you will need to load drivers.

Did you spill any liquid on this? I'm asking because this is symptomatic of a shorted keyboard controller. It could also point to a ribbon cable that has come detached from the motherboard, or has chafed and one of the traces has been damaged.
Keyboard will need replacing if this is the case
