How can i tell if my laptop is using its APU or its GPU?
From what I know or have read it's pretty much automatic the computer will switch between them depending on what your doing, basic stuff some videos browser games it will use the 4000, gaming rendering more complex task it will switch to the other, there should be a control panel for the virtu lucid..
I need computer drivers
Since your laptop has an Intel chipset, you should be able to find the video driver quite easily from the Intel web site.
Here's the link -
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/default.aspx
For other drivers try this website -
http://www.hwinfo.com/download.php
Since your laptop has an Intel Celeron Processor then your best bet is to download the 32 bit version of HWInfo. This program will give you a report on what hardware your laptop has so you will be able to go the appropriate web site to find drivers.
Do not download programs such as driver detective or programs that claim to automatically find drivers as they are absolutely useless. For example if your laptop PC has no connectivity to the internet because your Ethernet is not working then a driver detective program cannot download Ethernet drivers.
Lastly, but firstly I should have asked what operating system are you using? If you are using Windows 7 or later then most of the drivers should already be installed apart from maybe chipset, sound or audio?
Please let me know if this information has been useful.
Regards,
Alex.

My laptop has so many errors that it want spell right, you can be writing & the curser will jump back to the middle of another word that you have typed
This may be problem with the touchpad (mouse function) or with the built-in k/b.
I think that it is possible to adjust the sensitivity of the touchpad; try to reduce it.
You might try to use an external mouse and/or k/b to see if this makes any difference. There are many that connect to your computer through USB ports, either one transceiver for wireless keyboard and mouse, or separate USB k/b and mouse needing a USB port each. You may need to install drivers for some of these either from a CD or the internet. In the former case there should be instructions, in the latter, your computer might search the internet and download and install automatically.
It might even be corrupted driver problem; if this is a possibility you might try downloading new k/b and/or touchpad drivers from the HP website - search for dv7-1245dx in the search box.
If your computer is out-of-warranty for support (if it's in warranty go direct to HP support !), you might try posting this question in HP community support forum, accessible through the HP website. Also, look for this problem (in similar models too) to if anyone has encountered and solved it previously.
