Hi Dan What is the flavor of OS you have? Jellybean etc.. each OS has settings in Advanced settings to setup your SD card. Usally its under the developers tools then memory exterior card. Sometimes you have to setup the card to be default in a app. Good luck Chadman

I would let it charge. You may also want to try hard resetting it. Press and hold the power button for about 20 seconds. It should continue to charge.

You will most likely need to factory reset the tablet. **Note** This will delete everything stored on the tablet and reset it back to basic settings. Do you know what model it is? Try this.

1. Turn off the tablet.
2. Turn the tablet back on while holding the power and the back button.
3. After the machine starts release the power button but continue to hold the back button.
4. Once you get the android screen use the back button to go down to reset #3.
5. Acknowledge the reset by hitting the power button.
6. After it says all data is rest hit #1 to restart tablet and it will be back at factory settings.

Is there a 'reset' pin hole in the back by any chance? If so, gently insert the end of an opened paper clip into the hole and push in until you feel a button being pushed. Hold it there for about 10 seconds and then release. Your tablet should reset and start again.

This is old, but for anyone finding it, the latest ROM is 4.0v3. No one is working on custom ROMs for this, and no one ever did, to my knowledge.
