Even still to this day, it happens.
I've figured a temporary solution to fix this issue.

1. Go to settings > apps > manage apps and make sure you are under all apps tab.
2. Find Google play store and force close it. Then select uninstall updates.
3. Go back and scroll down to find Market Updater?... I think is what it is called and select force close.

From now on, only use the Market. The Google Play Store icon may disappear from the apps/app drawer... which is exactly what you want.

Problem solved.

If it ever happens again and Play Store comes up again, just repeat the process. As I said, I believe this fix is only TEMPORARY.

Hello,My LG v909 is complaining of 'too many pattern attempts'. Its asking for my gmail login credentials however it has no internet though a data sim card has been inserted. Anytime I insert/remove the sim card the desktop shows for only 5seconds and reboots. Can anybody help me please ?

Sadly, you need this information to use the phone. At the moment, there are some online resources that claim that they can bypass the Google lock however I've not used any such service and can't verify their claims.

If it's telling you the tablet is locked and requesting Google credentials to continue, you can't bypass that. That's an anti-theft feature. You'll have to have the owner of the last Google account who logged into the tablet log into it to continue.

If that's a BT (bluetooth) kb, you need to go to the tablet Settings, Bluetooth, turn on BT, you might have to tap the More link/button, locate the kb, and add it to get it to pair.

If it does not an ethernet connection you are out of luck. If you have an Iphone you can turn on hotspot.

take it to a repair shop to determine the exact fault screens are replaeable but if it is a hard drive you are in trouble
