hi there, it sounds as if your drive belt is loose or broken. when you put you ear to the machine can you hear the motor running, if the motor runs but nothing else happens its a sure sign that the belt is gone. whilst you might look silly doing this, it may prevent you opening the machine up to replace the belt if you not have to.
thanks iain
Still water inside wont go to final rinse
Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Sorry but I do not know your particular machine BUT I would suggest as a first step that you clean the drain motor lint tray/filter. So many 'faults' are caused by blocked filters. The motor is unable to drain all of the water in the allotted time.
If you are unsure where the filter is, it is normally behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and held in by a round cover/knob.
REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. If it doesn't work then the motor is malfunctioning!
Hope the filter is the problem and good luck!

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
Here is my generic 'standard' document ;-0)
It's quicker than typing it every time and I hope it helps!

The machine washes and spins but stops whenever it
Check water level switch. may be the small tube that carries water to the switch assembley. Either clogged or air trapped. Pull it re fix it. it should become ok.
Before that fill the m/c with water manually. Switch off power supply to the washer and attempt. ( Safety precaution)
Unable to remove filter on machine
Assuming you have located the filter at the bottom front of washer, you unscrew it anti-clockwise to remove and clean.
If there is a small screw in the filter handle, then unscrew it first, before removing filter.
Please rate my solution.
Thankyou.
Washer stops dead immediately prior to final rinse
this sounds like the conditioner solenoid, this is the cold water valve that works as the final rinse is suppose to work, just before the final spin, check valve connections for open circuit electrically, work safe unplug from power supply first, if i have helped please rate me

Are you sure that this not is the cooldown phase of the mainwash? Most frontloaders have this feature.
Intermittent fault
you have tried all ways its better to go to the mechanic it can help out more if he can find out some related problem
Thanx
The start/pause button is not working on my candy smart class a washing machine
the pump is blocked up or the filter
once you take the blockage you need to reset the machine
too do this turn off the mains power
press and hold usually the start pause or menu button
and turn the mains on
wait a few seconds and let go
should clear the fault detection
if it is the filter or a blocked bad pump
and its clear then the machine will reset
The start/pause button isnt working
I have always found that my Candy refuses to function at times, especially if I have tried to set it with wet hands. Do a Master Reset. Switch the circuit breaker off. Wait for 60 seconds. Turn it back on. Open and close the door 6 times within 12 seconds. I know it sounds mad but it works.
