No sound on computer- MAG Innovision Model 468
Solution 1 It might have defaulted your sound button to mute Got to control panel Sound and see if sound has been muted
Solution 2 unplug jack out of plug at rear of computer test it in other jack holes what might have happened is that the default setting for speaker and mic might have swapped round best way is play some music and move jack plug around see if you get any sound
Solution 3 Sometimes the sound software needs re setting bring it up and re sett speekers and mike setting by the colours you have you jack in remember front and rear you will be mainly dealing with rear jack interface green pink blue white etc

It is possible that you have connected two cables from Monitor to CPU,We need to check if there's a cable that has blue connector (VGA) and another that is HDMI(may be black in color) or DVI (white connector). In case there are two cables that go from the monitor to the computer tower I would suggest you to removing one of the cables will resolve the issue.Feel free to revert for any further assistance

Mag innovision monitor keeps turning off
It's not communicating with PC video card. It should pick up the input port, but make sure on monitor is set to correct input like VGA. You can try re-seating video card. Also test with VGA if you are using HD like HDMI.

Most likely, one of two things are the problem. Assuming that your computer is actually starting up and it passes the POST (you'll get a single beep if you have a system speaker), then the monitor is likely bad. Check it by attaching another monitor to the computer to see if a signal is being put out by the computer. If you get a picture, you have definitely have a bad monitor. If there is no picture on the test monitor, then your video card may be bad.
If the computer is not starting correctly, I'd recommend disconnecting everything but the CPU and memory and possibly the keyboard and trying to boot it. If it's one of the peripherals like the CD/DVD that is bad, then you should get something on the screen (I have had this happen).

You need to use Fn key and either F5, F6, or F7 (depend on your laptop, see owner manual) to let laptop sect to have both internal and external on at the same time, or just the external only, then you laso need to set the Windows Display property for extended display mode or mirror mode.
You also need to make sure that the PC video resolution is not higher than the native resolution of the external momitor, otherwise you will get 'format not support' prompt on the screen.

MAG 2200W shuts off after 1 second
Sounds like a protection circuit kicking on and off, and it will have to be troubleshot to isolate and replace the faulty circuit, whatever it may be. If you have an extended warranty, try to get it fixed for free. If not, make sure you get an estimate before you pay to have it fixed. Oftentimes the cost of repair will exceeed the cost of a new one, as fast as prices keep coming down these days.
I have a Mag Innovisin monitor that I use with my
eadaniels, Could be <$10 on DIY repair if you know what a soldering iron(pencil) is used for! $40 - $80 if contract out work to local electronics tech that understands forwards and backwards common known fault conditions for CCFL back-lit LCD monitors. Read some of my fixya profile for a while. If your display had bright, crisp, colorful text and graphics displayed on it' LCD panel just moments before this black sceen, or blank n black screen problem developed you may have a shot at cheap diy repair as long as you do some research. Fixya tech's "budmrtn" and "buddymc" are two more techs that are really good!!! Let us know what your plans are after you do some reading and surfing.

Power Supply, replace the caps, 220uf,470uf,680uf. You will see the tops of them are popped out, check the board too see if its turning color from the surface mount transistors that drive the lamps. If its turn on very dark color the parts in the monitors are very stressed out.
Then you may need to replace the monitor.
Rate me if this helps.
I have a MAG lcd monitor and it has a green
It might be that the monitor cable going to the graphics card is either broken or not in properly. Take it out on both ends and make sure that the pins inside are not bent. If they are, try to straighten them VERY CAREFULLY so they don't break. If they break just buy another cable. You have to rey and straighten them if they are bent. There's no way around it.
If they are straight and you screwed them in properly, it could be that the cable itself is damaged.
