Universal remotes have codes for TV's programmed into them, not this kind of equipment. So unless you can get the codes the remote will not work

The code for a universal remote, I used a Sky + remote is 1936. Switch tv on and not in standby, press Tv button on remove, press select and red button for 5 secs until you see the IR button flash twice. Enter 1936 code, the IR will flash again twice. Done. Test using remote on/ off button. This works for MATSUI TVR185 TS. If there is a PIN code, reset holding vol - on tv and holding number 7 on remote at same time.
