I am using noontec v7 ii, the device unable to read my external hard disk. How can I solve this problem?
gee , just failed now, or never did work is the first time trying it?
tell the story, as that matters. (makes answers 10x more easy)
no external HDD stated, USB? does it have power pack missing,
is it SSD , HDD 2.5" or HDD 3.5" drives (rust drives) make and model of external device matters. (big time)
or using E-sata external.
next what PC is this you posted to computers so it must be that.
so what PC, what OS do you run.,
did you up grade the OS and all USB3 ports are dead.
did you test the ports dead with USB keyboard, to see if the USB port is dead, the best way in the world to test USB is that.
the device above is a MEDIA player, and not a computer
and is a dedicated appliance. and has its own rules.
most devices made, not real computer are very strict on the usage of USB and external file media, (format limits strict and very limited)
what do you mean external HDD.??? inside your unstated PC.?
tell how you wish to use this setup.
the manual shows using the PC to download media files in to the V7 then the V7 can play them on a TV using HDMI.
the v7 has an internal HDD.
the USB port only your PC can be dead, many are, now.
due to owners doing ill advised and wrong upgrades to the OS>
the USB port on laptop are weak, 100mA limits and most things fail on those junky laptops due to weak ports, (non stated by you)
do you have the manual, on V7
its over 8 years old.
if you do, then tell what steps you get lost in the manual setups.
then I can advise, and any errors seen for sure.
