Make sure you have a good ground connection. The ground wire should be solidly connected to the vehicle chassis in a paint-free location. If the ground is connected badly, the protect light will come on.

Im sorry to tell you, that if only one side is working, you most likly have an open driver transistor or input device. If the one side had a shorted output then the whole unit would go into shutdown. The fact that the unit still works is a good sign. The correct way to test an amp is with some equipment most folks do not have, and that means a trip to your local good audio repair facility. They will need to doi a bench check on the amp with load resistors and a tone generator. If the amp preforms good on the bench, then you should start looking for bad speakers and or pinched wiring, loose connections or bad speakers. Let us know what happens? Good Luck

That image just shows that you have chosen Auxiliary Input, can't see the red dots. Looks like you just need to reconfigure it.

Tip & How-To about Watches

Changing Watch Batteries
Lots of posters ask "what is the battery in my (name of watch)" with a view to changing it yourself. This is a bad idea for many reasons. You don't have the tools or knowledge to remove a rotary screw on back, or the gasket sealant for a waterproof watch. Some fashion watches have 4 traditional screw and need professional grade jeweler screwdrivers. Also, there are about 20 batteries commonly used in watches, in various sizes and internal technology, Lithium Ion, Silver Oxide and Manganese Alkaline. If you buy them, you generally have to buy 10!

Don't sweat the details. Just take the watch to your local jeweler. They have all the batteries at hand and the tools to remove the back. It is done whilst you wait for $8 to $15!

There are lots of suggestions, specs and plans for loudspeaker enclosures available online with accompanying formulas for calculating sizes of boxes, ports, etc., but successful results tend to be achieved by experience as much as following plans and tuned port reflex enclosures are akin to the black arts - hifi purists would change the port size after a "bedding in" time for the enclosure and drive unit.

Your subs are rated at 300 rms so clearly you are overloading them at 350/400 and you should be aiming to max them at around 250 in a reflex cabinet. If you really must drive them so hard you really need to consider an infinite baffle as an alternative enclosure.
