Harman Kardon Harmon Kardon SoundStick II Speaker System Computer Speakers - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
Is it possible to install aux 3,5 mm plugg?
Probably not, but you can buy a 3.5 mm.-to-RCA adapter cable to hook up a device with RCA (L/R) AUDIO OUT jacks (and no 3.5 mm. headphone jacks) to your Harman Kardon speakers which, I assume, have only 3.5 mm. LINE/AUX IN jacks (1 or 2).

Harmon/Kardon SoundSticks 2, Power adapter?
If you go to the Harmon/Kardon website, you can find where to buy replacement parts.
http://www.harmankardon.com/
Select product support on the front page, then go to parts.
Then select your product as Harmaron/Kardon SoundsticksII and select your country.
Hope this helps,
Nathan.

Taking apart harman/kardon subwoofer
turn the sub upsidedown, carefully remove the clear rubber feet (these are a dome fitted over a mushroom top), using the toothed gripper cutout of a pair of pliers (when closed it is the eye shaped opening visible on one side), grip the mushroom firmly but not so hard as to crush the mushroom and gently ease clockwise and anticlockwise (the mushroom is at one end of a clear plug blocking access to the four screws that hold the two parts together.
Be carefull to use the correct size screwdriver so as not to damage the screw heads as they are tight.
On reassembly, you may need to use glue to replace the rubber feet if the mushroom becames damages during removal.

Most speaker now are made of or have a plastic coating. The speaker it self should be OK but the wiring could be shorted out. Your H,K amp has built in circuit protection. Try this, unplug it for 5 minutes and then plug it back in. It may reset itself. Good luck.

These speakers have a habit of setting their volume level to zero if the power is removed.
At the bottom of the right-hand speaker you should see some tiny volume up/down buttons.
Try pressing the up and see what happens.

How on earth did a leaf get in there?
If it is not affecting the sound quality, I'd leave it especially if you are not keen on taking the woofer apart, I'm afraid thats what you will need to do though if you want it out

Try pressing the volume up button on the right-hand speaker. These units often mute themselves if the power is removed and need to be un-muted by pressing the up volume button.

Hi:
most radio security codes are only 4 digits, and must be entered using the preset buttons on your stereo. If you are properly entering the code in the manner that your ownwers manual says, then your next step is to stop by your dealership service area, and with the VIN number of your car, they can help you unlock your stereo. I hope you get help!
