You can give them the diametre (inner/outer), length, you can of course get it, substitutes, at your local shop also.

There is no filter on this machine. The gray gooey substance is sludge (dirt) build up inside the tub. This can be caused from using too much detergent or a detergent that is not HE (high efficiency).
You can try running an empty cycle using the hottest water available with products such as "washer fresh", "affresh" or a cup of bleach to remove the build up.
Remember to use a HE detergent and you only need about 2 tablespoons per regular load.

Problem sorted, motor is brushless and tested ok. Traced problem to statup capacitor, no circuit across terminals, will be relatively cheap fix

the unit is only 18 nmohths old then what you need to do is contact the manufacture and explain to them what is happening and if they are having simuary isssues with that particular moidel number. Possibly they are and you may be able to have it repaired on their dime! 18 months is not that long for a washer to start having these problems if you have not abused the unit by overloading the washer or over filling it with soap. we had the same problem on ours, a techy came out to it and hit the washer above and the the right of the door handle, and hey presto the door opened, have done this myself since, works everytime

If you are certain that all pipes are clear, then you may wish to check the pressure pot & pressure switch ( & small hose joining the two as this could be telling lies to the program unit. If the machine is emptying but the switch fails to read the level correctly, it can cause the same sort of error problem. Pressure pots can fill with the "grey soap gunk" and switches pressure are a reletively common fault also. Good luck

It sounds to me like you may have blown a fuse or tripped a breaker. If your washer uses a regular 110 volt outlet, you can try plugging in another electrical appliance of some sort to see if there is any power in the outlet. The only other possibility I can think of right now is possibly a fuse inside the machine.

Have you tried turning off the circuit breaker that supplies power to the machine?
If you try that let the machine sit for a few minutes so it will lose whatever info there is.
Also, did you turn the water back on? It is not a good idea to run the pump unless there is water supplied to it.
What is the model number? I may be able to find troublehooting info for you.

check filter - try putting drain hose down at floor level and see if water runs out freely. if not, filter ius blocked. if water comes out freely, you may have a foreign object in drain pump. remove filterand see if you can see it. you will have water everywhere!!
