You have a selector code that is disabling transfer operations. Login with administrative account find selector code assignment (under Auto Attendants (3)) find a selector code 1 or 2 and see what it does. Change it to direct extension transfer . In a partner selector code 1 and 2 shouldnot be used.

Partner mail VS main voicemail message

Dial into voicemail
99#
1234# (default pswd)
option 3 is for Auto Attendatns
Will ask for the Auto Attendant Number (1-4)
Will ask if you want Day (1) or Night (2)
Will ask if you want to Listen (2) or Modify (6) MODIFY
You will be prompted to enter a "selector code" when finished entering selector codes, "Press *#"

just press STAR(*) POUND(#)
At this point you will be at the recording menu, just recording a greeting. MAKE SURE YOU CONFIRM by pressing STAR(*) POUND(#)

What releas is the processor? You need an ACS, Release 6 or newer.

From any display phone, press Feature 59. That will tell you the release.

Partner ACS phone system won't fwd calls to mailbox

If they want all calls to be answered by the general delivery mailbox only them you need to change the Group Distribution (#206) on all the lines in group 7 from (1) assigned to (3) VMS Line Cover and also change the Line Coverage Ext (208) on all lines to ext 10

Avaya Partner ACS phone system

Hello Warren,

If you don't have the manual for the Avaya Partner system, you'll need that in order to properly program the automated attendant and to assign different greetings for other phone lines.

I've attached a link with the manual for your system, that you can download free (save it on your computer for future use and reference). Printing the whole manual will take quite a bit of paper, but you can do it if you wish.

The information that you're looking for is in section 4, 5, and then testing the system in section 6.

The only tips that I can pass along are that you need to make sure that your sysem is properly setup to begin with, otherwise, many of the features and functions won't be able to be programmed or changed. If you have any doubts about your system settings, begin again and go through the set up procedures before you attempt to program new functions and features.

It can be a bit daunting to deal with these systems at first, but if you take the time needed to read through the manual, you'll be better aquainted with everything this system can do. Then programming and making changes to it, won't be all that difficult.

Of course the other option is to hire a telcomm systems tech to come out and perform the work for you, but then you're at their mercy everytime you want to make a change. It is a pretty straight forward system to work with, so please, set aside some time to read the manual and you'll be fine.

Depending on the type of voicemail you have, That's done by pressing your voicemail key or intercom 777. If you have a Partnermail VS the admin mailbox is 99 with the default password of 1234.If you mave a Partner Messaging System2.gif the admin mailbox is 0 with a default password of 1234 or 123456. Once your into the admin mailbox press 9 for admin programming2.gif.

Change number of rings on Comdial Impact

Thsi change needs to be made in sys programming. Usually with a pc and vmmi software.

If you have that, call up your station and there is a setting for station fwd to vm setting you can adjust.

Change number of rings on incoming call before it goes to VMS

Changing the vms hunt delay on a Partner ACS system is done on either ext 10 or 11. At one of those ext's press the feature key and "00"
next press the left hand intercom twice
the display should say system programming
enter in "#505"
the display should say vms hunt delayand mode:
enter 1 for day mode or 2 for night mode
enter line you want to program in 2 digit format (line 1 =01)
enter number of rings (2)
press feature "00" to logout
