Can't open the door timers saver & 1200 spin lights flash

There is a known problem with these washers whereby a small electrical current 'leak' from the heater element causes the machine to think it still has water in it. Disconnect the wires on the heater (tape them up or otherwise make safe) then run a cycle to verify that part as the problem.

Drum noisy and appears to be jumping all over the place

There is a three-legged yoke that is behind the spinning drum. Sounds like it's on it's last leg, and will soon comletely break off. Big do-it-yoursef job, suggest repairman or new machine with warranty.

The door hinge has snapped is it easy to take off

Two screws hold the hinge to the frontplate of the machine which goes into a threaded nut welded to the panel (torque to 30/40 foot pounds or relatively snug).. just remove the screws and raise the hinge and pull forward..(keyhole slotted on)... then reverse to attach the new door...

I have a h130 front

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

Here are my complete guidance notes for checking both the drain motor filter and the drain motor. The bit about checking the motor is near the end ;-0)
-------------------------------------

If you are unsure where the filter is, it is often behind the front lower (kick) panel (or in some machines at the rear in an awkward position!) and most are held in by a round cover/knob. Sometimes the filter will not come out with the cover and you will have to persuade it to come out to play!

REMOVE POWER AND ENSURE YOU HAVE A WATER RECEPTACLE/RAGS TO SOAK UP THE WATER WHICH IS BOUND TO POUR OUT!
It's surprising what people have found in theirs! It is always worthwhile checking it on a regular basis.
Now- whilst the filter is removed it is normally possible to see the drain motor and ensure it is not jammed by a foreign object such as a needle or a toothpick. It should be able to be turned by hand/finger- the power IS OFF!
At this point it is also possible to test if the motor works. No clothes or water in the machine, select a spin cycle and put the power back on. You should be able to see the motor turning at some point, possibly straight away. Using something suitable like a glove see if it is easy to briefly slow the motor down. If it is easy then the motor is malfunctioning!

Good luck!

When sprining the mechine have

Usually over a period of use the washer tends to get out of balance, and then make more noise when it get to the spin cycle. I would suggest leveling the washer and then trying it out. The best way to fix this issue is by getting yourself a water level, u can get it in any hardware store. I personally would recommend a small circular water level for this job. Place the water level on top of the washer; make sure it is in the center. Take a look at the level and see where the bubble is in the water level? Accordingly you have to lower or raise either 4 corners of the washer to bring the bubble in the water level to the center. Now you have to be very gentle and small increments when rising or lower the corners of the washer, it does not take too much to move the bubble in the center.

If the problem continues then you have to open the top cover and check inside. 9 out of 10 the washer needs to be leveled.

I have a hoover 1200

for first look at the pipes that lead into the washing machine (HD vision) the water pipe must be bent or kinked or got blocked ot loose. but if the piper are ok.then unplug the washer from main power outlet for 10 minutes then reconnect it and check out. if still the same problem check out the drain pump if its clogged then it needs cleaning if its got loose or worn out it needs replacement. but if the drain pump is ok.then its the fault in front control panel board.it has to be replaced. -------- you can get required parts from www.repairclinic.com or also from www.partselect.com ---------
This will help. Thanks please keep updated.please do rate the solution positively .thank you for using fixya
