2. Press Menu button and call up User OSD Menu
3. Select Audio-> Balance
4. Enter 0->5->3 ->2 in sequence.
Note: If necessary, re-do number keys.
5. Factory OSD appears.
Select the item “Clean All”and Press ENTER
6. Press Menu again and leave factory OSD.

Hi,
Make sure AC power cord is properly plugged in TV and wall socket.
If still no power sign in tv that means power supply is defective, if you are handy with electronics stuff then take off back cover of tv and check fuse in power supply board, replace it with same rating if found blew off.
If fuse blow again then power supply board will be replace.
Let me know if tv is different model other than Protron PLTV-37

You can press source button on your LCD TV Left or Right side and select the which a where source you require.

DVD would connect to the input of the TV and NOT the satellite box.

The yellow light is on means that you at least have the standby 5vdc power supply section is working, look at the rest of the output of the power supply, you should have 12vdc, and 24vdc. It can be that the main controller is not sending the turn on signal to the power supply to turn on the 12v and 24v power supply sections. Start checking. If your using HD, then use the RGB component input 1. or AV 1 if your not using HD.

First make sure you have your cables connected securely, then try to move your antenna around and rescan your channels everytime you move the antenna.

There are two places to look for the problems, the backlight inverter board and the power supply. Look at the power supply first since it is easier to get to, look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc.

First place to look will be the power supply module, look for blown fuse, burnt parts, bad capacitors.

You will need to provide a bit more details: was it working well before, was there a particular event that may have triggered the problem (e.g. storm, power surge) and finally the blink count, e.g. one long and five short blinks or just 8 short blinks of seemingly equal frequency.

The most likely source of your problem is the power supply of the TV, but without extra info it's hard to tell.
