The Sensor Magnet for water tank does not float to the top
OK, first of all, I do not recommend my solution if you are forgetful or do not check your water level manually daily.
However, I found a super easy solution.
The way the unit works is to use a float in the water chamber with a magnet on the bottom. When their is enough water in the tank, the float rises and the magnet on the bottom floats to the top of the magnet chamber. When it floats up, it aligns with a sensor in the machine that allows the machine to operate. When the the water level lowers, so does the magnet and drops below the internal sensor disabling the machine with a "Fill Water Tank" error message.
To eliminate this error and allow the machine to operate, I simply popped off the lid to the magnet chamber with a butter knife and turned the water chamber up side down to let the magnet float fall out. Remember to empty the water first.
Here comes the highly technical part. Turn the magnet float upside down and slide it back into the float chamber. Since the actual magnet is on the bottom of the float it now is at the top allowing the internal sensor to turn off. No more error message!
The reason I do recommend this is because this completely defeats the purpose of the sensor and will most likely damage your machine if you run it without water. Keep you tank filled however and you will eliminate the frustration of a "float gone bad" keeping you from your morning caffeine.
Fill Water tank - Ventilate
Hi Mike,
Make sure the magnet flow up, if it flow up and you still get fill water tank then you have to replace the magnet.
If you get ventilate all time, try to remove the filter and try again.

No water dispenses
Does it make a clicking sound when you press the brew button. If not, the switch is bad . Chances are that is what it is.
Coffee maker Ventilate
You need to chck the water reservoir if it in place properly, rmove it and put back in place again. The you need to turn the hot water knob to draw some water out, this will revove the ventilate massage.
Cannot pull out the tray and grounds collector
what i did in this instance only a week ago was to wait a few days. The puck dehydrated and when i rebooted the machine it ejected and the door closed alowing removal of tray. On mine it seems to be symptomatic of some other problem though.
WAter fill message will not clear
2 things to check ..when was the last time you properly descaled the unit ? If the waterflow is restricted inside the lines and the boiler ,the interior flow meter signals the computer to show insufficient flow ..clean /descale .
If magnet floats to the top of the small lid that keeps it in the little chamber . If it does not float or partially sinks it is defective ..leaks through a tiny hole in the plastic and water filled the grey magnet with some water (adds weight ) then rusted the strong magnet into rusty magnetic powder and loses magnetic force .
You can use a new good strong magnet to see if the sensor is good by placing it where the old one was .Light should go OFF
The overall important service is to keep the scale out of any machine as much as you can .
Machine won't prime
Try lifting the water tank, then setting it back in place, and then priming the machine.
Saeco incanto water doesnt cycle
can you hear the unit working and the pump activating in the unit if you can most of the time units get clogs in the nozzle heads if you use a pin or needle to clean out the nozzle head it will restore the water flow so that the water is able to come back out the nozzle. This is mostly due to when people use the finest setting to grind the bean and dont realize that coffee beans contain oil and what happens when you mix oil and water and very small grind it forms clogs in small areas if you are not hearing the pump run then you most likely are not supplying the unit with the proper amount of power to run the pump. If you have any further questions message me back.Thank youRick

I have a Saeco Incanto Classic and the ventilate
Having read the other reviews here, I was prepared for the cryptic "VENTILATE" message. (The manual refers to this procedure as "Loading the circuit", which doesn't help to clarify things.) Of course this refers to what Americans would call "priming" the machine. As mentioned in another review, there is a plastic hand pump supplied for priming, but that is only needed in the event that the electric pump fails to self-prime. All I had to do (following the quick-start instructions) was to select the Hot Water function; the internal pump quickly primed itself. i hope this helps Lee Davidian
