Maybe the door switch is bad or the part on the door that activates it is broken off or otherwise misaligned or missing.

Try Miacom.com. All they appear to offer are gears. What about other parts for this shredder?

I appreciate your intent to help solve my printer problem. However, I do not think it should require me to pay a fee to get an address to locate a Company to obtain a replacement part for my Achiever shredder.

did you try radio shake

the cutter wheels in side the machine needs to be lubricated. use a silicone lube. like tri-flo. Spray the lube where you put the paper

most of the time the cutter wheels dry up you need to spray silicone base lubricant down the paper shout like Tri-Flow.

The plastic "chute" that channels the shredded paper out has to be removed first. I almost forced mine which would have not been a good idea! By the way, do you know of a source for parts for this machine? Thanks.
