Maybe the door switch is bad or the part on the door that activates it is broken off or otherwise misaligned or missing.

It's screaming at me ~ squealling loudly.

the cutter wheels in side the machine needs to be lubricated. use a silicone lube. like tri-flo. Spray the lube where you put the paper

CANNOT REMOVE COVER ON SCS-6 ACHIEVER SHREDDER

The plastic "chute" that channels the shredded paper out has to be removed first. I almost forced mine which would have not been a good idea! By the way, do you know of a source for parts for this machine? Thanks.
