you can get wall mounts that fit a variety of tv makes so talk with a tv shop or electronic shop for one that is suitable for your machine

Most likely a defective T-con board. If your comfortable disassembling your TV (obviously if it's not still under warranty) they are generally not to hard to replace. Finding the exact board can sometimes be a pain but DIY repair costs for the board vary from an estimated $100-200 to who knows how much to have it serviced but I would guess double to triple the DIY route.

The question is not clear? What kind of 'cable box'? The good news is yours (apparently) HAS "HDMI" and that's good news if you are asking about a better "Cable TV Box". IF you write about a INTERNET Cable Box... that's another answer... Honestly ~ I don't want to waste more time trying to guess! Sorry Anthony

Unplug set, HDMI, and a box if used for a while--connect the HDMI first and then power to set and or box--see if set will reboot or box.HDMI does not like power loss, being connected or disconnected with power on etc.Also in set menu make sure HDMI input is "available".
