DXG-301V CAMERA
SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
Manual
It doesn't. The DXG-301V uses standard AA batteries, either disposable or rechargeable. If you choose to use rechargeable batteries, you must charge them outside the camera using a separate charger.
I miss my drivers cd
You can download the driver from the manufacturer's web site at

Did not use DXG-301V for
Chances are that the ribbon connector from the LCD to the main board is loose, and needs to be reset. You can do this yourself, and there are videos on YouTube that show the process, in general, which should be good enough to help you do it. If you do this and still have no picture showing up in the display, you might have a CCD problem, and that would required servicing the unit. Get an estimate before you have it repaired, since the cost of repair can be substantial.
Good luck, and hope this helps.
DXG-301V Power won't stay on
laistrop,
The fact that your camera was not used for a year and assuming the batteries remained in the camera (uncharged?) after that long a period of time, it would be very likely the batteries have deteriorated and may need to be replaced. The first thing to try is charging the batteries if you have not already done so. Plug in the charger and allow at least 12 hours for the batteries to charge. If the camera still will not work, the original batteries have very likey lost their ability to hold a charge and will have to be replaced. To test this, without spending too much money, try inserting 4 Alkaline AA batteries in the camera (observe the battery polarity marked on the flip-top battery cover). If the camera works, you should replace the batteries with fresh NiMh rechargeable batteries and charge them before you attempt to use the camera. Allow at least 12 hours for the initial charge unless the battery manufacturer suggests otherwise. I would not recommend using any form of "rapid" or "quick" charge rechargeable battery. If you do, you will be paying extra for a convenience you will not use, unless you plan to use an external quick charger, since the camera is not equipped to support rapid battery charging.

The only way to fix this problem, is to bring in to the place you bought it and see if they have a technician who can look at it or do it yourself.
I can tell you that whenever batteries are left in any battery operated device and corrosion happens, that corrosion will leak into the circuit board and destroy some of the components.
If you are lucky, you can open it up and clean it.
Just be careful when openning and do not use a solvent in it, unless it is one recommended for cleaning circuit boards by an electronics technician. The cleaners some technicians use are not even for electronic, but have been tested on delicate circuit boards and have been proven to be safe.
Ask someone like a geek at best buy or some other shop to find out what to clean it with.

If you can clean the corrosion off down to the metal, you will be ok. Spray some electrical contact cleaner on them to flush off all the chemicals, and wipe them dry with a soft cloth. You may have to use some fine grit emery cloth to get all the corrosion and oxidation off the terminals. Then reclean them good. Corroded and oxidized battery terminals are the number one problem with digital cameras, since they use such a low voltage, and it's extremely critical to keep the contacts clean and perfectly conductive.
Cleaning the contacts should get you going again. Good luck, and thanks for using FixYa.
Connecting a sony ccd-trv46e to a computer
Yes, it is possible to connect your Sony CCD-TRV46E camcorder to a computer. In order to do so, you will need a few things:
- A video capture device: This device converts the analog video signal from your camcorder into a digital format that your computer can understand. There are several types of video capture devices available, such as USB capture devices, FireWire capture devices, and HDMI capture devices.
- A cable to connect the camcorder to the video capture device: The cable you need will depend on the type of video capture device you choose. For example, if you choose a USB capture device, you will need a USB cable. If you choose a FireWire capture device, you will need a FireWire cable.
- Software to control the capture process: There are many software options available that can be used to control the capture process, such as VLC, Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Premiere, etc.
It seems that you have a cable that connects the camera to the power supply, and another one that is not supposed to connect to anything. To connect your Sony CCD-TRV46E to a computer you will need a specific cable called AV cable (Audio Video cable) that has a yellow plug for video, white and red for audio and a small round plug for power.
Please double check the user manual for your camera and make sure that it supports the transfer of video to a computer before you buy the AV cable or the video capture device.
American dynamics security camera adca35xn with no wires I need the diagram for rewire
The best option would be to contact the manufacturer or a authorized service center for assistance. They may be able to provide you with a wiring diagram or instructions for rewiring the camera, or they may be able to repair or replace the camera for you.
Alternatively, you can also look for a professional technician who is experienced with security cameras and can help you with rewiring the camera. They may be able to create a wiring diagram or guide you through the process of rewiring the camera based on their knowledge and experience.
