Bunn 10 cup home coffee brewer is leaking from the
These models have a plastic pour-in tray just under the top lid. The plastic on these trays gets brittle over time with the heating and cooling, and they crack where they mount to the tank. The only real way to repair this is to replace the pour-in tray, but these are not sold anywhere that I have found. You might be able to find a used one at a Bunn dealer in your area.
I have seen some people do a temporary repair by putting a washer under the mounting bolt and sealing it with silicone, but this is a temp. fix at best. By the way, the reason that the water appears to be coming from the bottom of the machine is that there is no other place for the water to come out after it leaks from the top.
Coffee will not stay hot
Sound like the warming plate went out. could be a break in the wire or if it went completely out you can order one directly from bun.
Cleaning a bunn coffeemaker
the old fashioned way to clean a coffee maker is to run vinager through it then follow with a couple of pots of water that has a bit a baking soda in it.
Water dripping slowly
You can get urnex at most reputable kitchen shoppes or order it. it will do a great job or you can run vinegar through the machine... be aware that it will smell horrible and will nedd to have at least 2 or 3 cycles of water ran afterwards but brewing this cycle a couple of times will bust up the lime. Doing it every month or so afterwards will keep it from coming up again. That would be my first step... hope that helps!

This unit is under three years old, so phone Bunn (you can get the number for customer support from

My bunn coffee maker is leaking. It is less than 2 years old.
I repair them. There are so many places it could be leaking from, you need to be more specific. To answer your question, yes they can be repaired. Get an estimate first, if you decide to have it repaired. The cost of repairs sometimes is more than buying a new one, or close to it. With a new unit you get warranty coverage too
I have mold
For lime deposits, you can use a citric acid based descaler/cleaner solution.
For mould or mildew, wash thoroughly in a mild steralising bleach solution (similar to the type you clean a baby bottle with).
When you've used both, ensure you rinse the machine thoroughly several times before using it.
Good luck!
It won't stop dripping and is leaking from the
The leaking from the bottom may stem from a broken or melted gasket on the interior. Some owners report success receiving the repair parts/instructions by mail. The customer service department at BUNN will assist you at no charge. Before you contact BUNN, enter your model number in the web and the word "recall" to see if any such issue applies. There were several such recalls in recent years, in which case it does not matter if your unit is under warranty or not. If applicable, BUNN will explain your repair/replacement options.

Hello. the problem is the little sprayer that sprays water into the coffee grounds. They get clogged with coffee oil and coffee grounds. Unplug the machine, tip it upside down in the sink so the water doesn't go everywhere and use a straight pin to clean out the little holes of the spray nozzle. That nozzle should unscrew, which would make it easier to clean. When you are looking at the nozzle, unscrew it by turning it counterclockwise. Joe
When I put in, 6 cups of water, if the 10 cup Bunn
look for water leaks around pot. Otherwise do a daytime brew to compare your difference between the amount poured in and what comes out. Please note that less water should mean using less ground coffee. Suggest 1 heaping table spoon per brewed cup.
My Brunn coffee maker is leaking from the bottom also.
I have the same problem and I took the coffee maker apart to find out why. The fitting for the hold in the black pastic that the water flows through to get into the stainless steel tank may not have a tight fitting with the plastic and that's where I had water leakage. I used some silicone sealant to fix the leak and the water stopped leaking!

This is usually caused by a missing sprayhead above your filter basket. take out the filter basket, and see if there is a sprayhead up there, or if there is just a little round pipe that the prayhead screws on to. If it is missing, you can contact your local Bunn dealer, or phone bunn directly, and they will take care of you. You can get a list of repair centers in your area at www.bunn.com
Over running, doesnt drain thru filter as fast as
Sometimes this happens if you use filters that are too thick for the brewer. If you are using Bunn filters andthis keeps happening , up above your filter basket, there is a sprayhead. Turn that off, and look at it to see if it is plugged up.If there is no sprayhead, then that could cause your filter basket to overflow, as too much water will be coming into the basket too fast.
Bunn keeps blowing the circuit when pulled in
If the circuit resets with the coffee maker unplugged, the coffee maker is at fault. There is a defective part in the unit that is shorted causing an overload in the circuit. You will have to isolate the bad circuit and replace or replace the coffee maker.
