Ok I just found the website for the instructions
http://www.coscojuvenile.com/instructions/
Your carseat has the Model # and date manufactured on the side or bottom, type in the date & # and you can download the instructions.
It doesnt specifically address the plastic holds but they DO pop out. If you are facing the front of the car seat you can put a screwdriver under the edge of the plastic peice and turn the screwdriver sideways and the peice pops out. I got all four off.. took some muscle though! Good Luck

Best thing you can do is just to contact Costco to see if they can supply you with replacement threads... typically for something small and cheap like that they will simply have you pay shipping to replace them.

Contact the manufacturer to see if they will warranty the product or if they may send you a new latching mechanism. They will probably want you to send them a picture with your phone to document the problem. Here is the link to their website. https://www.coscokids.com/

Be sure to obtain the free repair kit for that recalled crib by calling Cosco, and I assume they could also provide you the assembly manual. https://www.cpsc.gov/Recalls/1995/cpsc-and-cosco-inc-announce-crib-recall Quoting from the web link shown: The recall program involves crib models 10T01, 10T04, 10T05, 10T06, 10T09, 10T11, and 10T14. The manufacturer's identification, which includes the model number, is located at the bottom of the horizontal rail of either the drop side or fixed side rail of the crib. Cribs with a manufacture date code between 4490 (44th week of 1990) and 4093 (40th week of 1993) are included in this recall. Consumers who own the recalled cribs should stop using them and contact Cosco at (800) 314-9327 for a free repair kit. CPSC And Cosco Inc Announce Crib Recall
