don't repair their units anymore, they simply replace them. If you're no longer in warranty, unless you paid over $200 for the blender, it's time to get a new one.

Can't get my back to basics blender opened
I removed the motor coupling and after troubleshooting the blender found that the thermal fuse was blown. I think Radio Shack might have the fuse I need if not I know an online site that definitely does.
