They retired the Bodyguard carseat back in 2005 so do not offer covers for this carseat. I was looking for a replacement carseat cover myself. If you know a good seamstress you may want to get one made The carseat, otherwise, is still great. I have a Parkway also that I'd like to get a replacement cover for and they retired that carseat in January of last year. It's too bad they don't carry the covers longer. Hope this helps you!

You should never use a seat in a way that it is not intended. I would have to know the specific model you have, but the headrests are adjustable up and down and are intended to protect the sides of the child's head in an accident. If the foam underneath is broken, you should contact Britax and they can send you a replacement foam. Per their website: The seat is still structurally safe to use as long as the foam is positioned in the same place in which it was intended. Sometimes taping the foam in place is suggested in order to prevent it from wiggling. Taping the foam does not compromise the safety of the car seat. You should get someone qualified to look at your seat if there's a problem with it. If you decide to fix a problem on your Britax car seat and end up damaging it, that will be a bigger problem. Remember that is your child's safety which might be at risk.
