Navman PiN 570 screen setup
On the left side when you face the usb ..plug ..you have a hole that can be accessed with a stylus or a sharp object ...There is the soft reset ..and will reset the unit and restart it ..If the problem continue //you have the possibility to make a hard reset ..just near the usb plug in the right ..This iwll get it to the factorry settings and you will also loose any data and maps on it ..so ..make a back-up and only use if you have no other option ..
here is the manual ..you can read about it an see picture on page 10

My garmin nuvi keeps saying
Your Garmin rechargeable battery has reached the end of its lifespan and must be replaced. Nuvi batteries are not intended to be user-replaceable so the official fix is to return the unit to Garmin for a replacement to be fitted, but you can do so yourself far more cheaply and it's not difficult.
As you haven't stated your model, I cannot give you a direct link, but if you enter the search term "nuvi <your model number> battery replacement" into your search engine you'll normally find explicit instructions and often a YouTube video guide.
I hope that you get your Garmin working again soon, please take a moment to rate my answer.
Pin navman handhelp pc will not work off battery
Try holding soft reset for a couple of minutes whilst charging. If this does not work leave pda charging with hard reset switched off BUT all data will be lost. Then move hard rest and if you are lucky the green charging light will start flashing and you can switch on. It sounds as though you have flat battery and if left too long restarting becomes very difficult as the motherboard cannot start the recharging process while the pda is switched on. This is true even with new batteries which can be supplied flat if old stock.
Even liquid damage is unlikely as there are so few exposed connectors. I have not tried it but gently drying motherboard with a hair drier on gentle setting and cleaning battery connector and screen ribbon cable before assmbling might work. Treat both connectors as being etremely fragile although they are more robust than you might think. But treat them with extreme care as repairs to them would be more expensive than the value of a working pda.
Broken lcd on Pin 570
The screen is expensive in relation to the value of the pda so a practical solution is to buy a donor pda with a different fault being offered cheaply for spares. The screen is the same as that for the Acer N35. Both PDA's are based on the same motherboard although they are not interchangeable due to slightly different fittings for example the GPS aerial connector. Screens and batteries are interchangeable.Try Ebay or Trade Me. If the ribbon is not pushed home firmly and square before locking in, it will not work and swicth on and off and on to check. You need a certain amount of good fortune when buying a dead donor as any other fault may disguise the fact that the donor's screen may also be kaput!
Pockect pc is not connecting with disktop pc
Google activesync which is freely available as download on internet. If you run Vista, connect via Windows Mobile Device Center on your pc. The companion disc merely holds activesync and a 2002 version of outlook, which, if you have not got a more recent copy anyway, can also be downloaded.
