The long time in store makes all water in to evaporate and the scale with mineral desposit to dry out on the piping system and the water pump and thus what is blocking it to work back to normal.
You can tru to descale the machine maybe a couple of times and if you would be lucky the machine can work back to normal again. Try two three day repeating it and leave the solution in the machine for more than hour so it can desolve as much as posible.

Hello there.
Descaling your brewer might not be the solution because it doesn't effect the power supply.. Have you tried these steps?
• Plug Brewer into an independent outlet.
• Check to be sure that it is plugged in securely.
• Plug into a different outlet.
• Reset your home's circuit breaker if necessary.
• Make sure that the Power Button has
been turned on.
After trying those, update me if that solved it or if you are still having the problem.
MY KEURIG COFFEE MAKER WON'T WORK AND IT
I had the same problem, the machine is two monthsold, and found a way to fix it. This is my second unit as the first unit failed after 14 months. Removing the resovoir and using my finger to push up on the valve that allows the resevoir to drain into the base unit always worked for me for perhaps a day. I got tired of doing this and three days ago I glued an 18 ga copper circle the end of the valve to open the valve wider when the resovoir is seated in the base unit. While it has only been 3 days so far there has not been a prime problem. I also us K-cups and the unit leaked water every time. I removed the rubber grommet on the lid and place a folded piece of aluminum foil (8 layers) that i pierced to fit over the needle that punctures cup. I then pkaced the grommet back on the needle and have had no leakage since. Hope this helps you.
