Unit runs for one and a half hours then shuts down
Check the fuel filter on the units as well as the inlet and outlet filters on the back of the motor.
Watch the nose cone and see if the end starts to loose the glowing orange color before it quits.
If the unit slowly looses the color then you have a fuel problem but if the unit just quits at full heat then you could have a electrical problem.

My reddy heater 125t starts fine but only runs for
Read your manual....it will explain why and what happens when not done.Your machine ( which I have ) requires a 11" opening of fresh air in a garage. I use a fan sideways behind the machine and that seems to work without having to open the door, also helps circulate the heat at the ceiling.

Do you have a pre-start checklist?
Pre-start checklist?
I assume the heater ran fine last season. If so, assume it will run fine this season. Simply remove the top cover, check the combustion chamber area for signs of visitors such as mice, wasps, dirt dobbers, etc. Remove debris.
We always drain the old fuel & start fresh.
Replace the top cover and fire it up. If it runs fine then leave it alone. If it won't continue to run troubleshoot and find the problem.

I have one of these heaters and it is not starting
Sears has repair shops that could take a look and repair it for you, since I don't have a zip code I can't give you a exact place to go. normally if they don't start it's due to a faulty therm switch inside the heater where the flame blows out, it's not to difficult to fix, if you can give me a model number I can get a diagram for you to show you how to do this let me know.

Ready heater sparks and theen just blows smoke
Make sure the fuel is not contaminated, and is k 1 ,if it is diesel fuel in it,and it is not made for diesel ,then that is the problem, also use a anti gel additive for gelling in the fuel,it doesn`t have to be that cool for gelling.

After sitting all summer now goes in to a flame
Make sure the filters in the back are clean and make sure the fuel line
from the tank to the nozzle are tight. You might also check to make
sure nozzle is clean. Make sure fan is operational. If it has spark ignition make sure that is cleaned up as well
