Hi there, Below are instructions that I have found from the internet. Hope that they will help.

• Open the front cover of the printer.
• Hold down the Go button for 4 seconds until all the LEDs light up. Then release the Go button
• Remove the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly.
• Replace the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly back into the printer.
• Close the front cover of the printer
• Your drum unit should now be reset
MFC / DCP PRINTER SERIES 1.Remove the drum unit and toner cartridge. Wait 1 or 2 minutes. 2.Replace the drum unit and toner cartridge into printer. 3.The error message "Change Drum Soon/Drum end soon" will continue to appear if the drum counter was not reset when you replace the drum unit. 4.To clear this error message, you need to reset the drum counter as instructed below. 5.Make sure that the machine is turned on. For MFC users: To confirm you are installing a new drum, press 1. For DCP users To confirm you are installing a new drum, press the Up Arrow key 7.When the LCD shows Accepted, close the front cover. 8.Your drum is now reset. Resetting the drum unit will not improve print quality. It only resets your drum and allows you to continue to print. You decide when to replace the drum unit not the manufacturer!

Make sure it's not Upside down try pushing the red reset button ,or rotate the white gear tward the bottom. What's the model ?.

The drum is part of the laser toner cartridge

Open the front door

Press the square button in the center of the paper receiving are, it is marked with a small triangle

Press and pull, it will open a door showing the toner cartridge

Pull out the toner cartridge

The top part is black and the bottom assembly is grey

There is a blue little latch in the right side of the cartridge

Press the latch and the toner cartridge will be release

Remove the toner cartridge.

You need to replace the grey bottom assembly with a new one

pull out the toner cartridge which is together with drum unit by opening machine front cover..you will see one blue small slider..you can slide it to right and left and slide this 2,3 times and after this leave the slider at its home position and install the toner cartridge...i hope this will helpful to you

Try buying your ink cartridges from Printpal.com to get your ink cost as low as possible.

most likely a buildup of dust and dirt and ink on the pickup roller. get some soap and water and scrub it down. You'll need to take the tray out and turn it over to get at it, but once you clean it off (scrub it with your fingernail, you'll see how much comes off) and let it dry it will be sticky enough to pick up paper again. or find some rubber rejuvinator (i have a can i got online) and give it a squirt. works great I’m happy to help further over the phone at https://www.6ya.com/expert/troy_d840d2702258460c

Yes it can, if you are able to access the drum, make sure the entire area is clean, including gears that drive the drum, you could probably use one of this air in a can to blow out debris caught in that area and this link shows how to clean the drum http://www.brother-usa.com/faqs/static/AC_Drum_Cleaning_Swab.pdf

I don't think there is any hard and fast time scale or number of prints to when it's time to clean the drum, but I would suggest that if you are getting any unwanted marks appearing on your print out's, then it could be time to clean the drum and the corona wire. Not much in the way of an answer, but it's how I judge when to clean my laser printer's drum's. Happy printing. Good luck.
