I am trying to print
Hi Mitzi
Well to be honest there is not allot that you can realy get wrong, appart form getting the wrong envelopes, weight wise that is, these should be no more than 75 to 95 gsm, check to make sure these are not thicker than the required weight as they will be to thick to feed through the printer, i myself have the brother MFC-5440cn and that has trouble with envelopes to,try feeding in one at a time or make sure that if you have allot to print out, thats they are pressed down on the corners and are as flat as you can get them ,or it will not feed correctly, setting the envelopes in the feeder should be quite simple, all you have to do is in the top trey (not the bottom draw), where the adjusters are, put your envelopes in, then slide the adjusters that are on either side inwards till they hold the envelopes firmly , to tight and they wont feed, too loose and they will slide in at angles and get stuck, but realy thats it, then just make sure that the the address or what ever it is you are printing to them is correctly aligned in the program you are using, make sure it knows what size envelope you are printing on, its always best to do a couple of test prints first to make sure its alligned before printing the envelopes...hope this helps
