How do you remove underwire lodged between drum and outer case
hi to remove bra wire from between drums ? you might try this 1st ? if you diconnect water supply hoses and unplug power supply then remove rear panel from machine you will have access to the large rubber drain hose from outer drum down to discharge pump ? ok hose is held by spring wire clips both ends remove clips then hose you may find bra wire either in hose or close to drum drain if you need ? feel inside drom via drain hole ? or probe with a piece of coat hang wire ? you may even find the mysterious missing sock/ thong / etc when you disconnect the hose too?? any debri has to lay in bottom of outer drum and so a little patience will locate them using this method instead of removing the main front door sealto drum for access to same area also with rear panel off you can check belt tension ? hope this helps/inspires you ? best wishes from uk

Hotpoint wma12 not draining help please my work clothes are stuck
You need to check the pump filter which is accessed by removing lower rear panel of washer.
On the right you will see a large black hose, ondo securing clip and remove hose, be careful because there will still be water in it.
Better still , lay hose down into a bowl or similar to drain any remaining water in m/c.
Inside you will see the plastic filter, remove and clean, refit filter and hose, make sure you get it on properly
Test it for leaks, and that should be it.
If it still does not drain then you need to check the pump is o/k.
You can do this by listening or feeling if you can hear the pump going.
BE CAREFUL
Any more info , let me know.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
Dru wont turn at all
Hi, welcome to Fixya.
The belt has come off for a reason, and there are a few reasons for it to do so.
1- You have overloaded the m/c
2- It is not draining properly.
3- The main drum bearings have gone. Before replacing the belt spin the drum by hand, and if it is noisy or feels rough , then the bearings have gone.
That means calling an engineer.
4- Worn or broken belt.
To refit the belt, do the following.
Remove top cover, and rear panel.
Tilt the m/c forwards, and support it.
Reach inside and slip the belt over the motor pulley, then start feeding the belt round the drum pulley, it is fiddley, but this is the only way, as you get the belt futher round, it will get very tight, so don't trap your fingers, just keep on going.
If it slips off, start again.
Goodluck.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks, And a merry xmas.
Filter query
The filter is located inside trhe sump hose at the rear of the m/c.
You have to remove the hose to access it
Door of washing machine will not open.
Some times, you have to really pull hard to open the door
If no joy, then you have a faulty door lock.
To replace. remove door seal at front, thius will give you access to the door lock.
My FEW12 won't drain!- Help!!!
Possibly a blockage in the pump or pipes to the pump as small items can sometimes slip between the 2 drums and block the outlet pipe from the outer drum to the pump.
De dietrich oven
is this for oven hinges or washer hinges for a first edition m8
Not draining and flooding my kitchen!
hiya
first off norah, you will need to check the pump filter as there is probably a blockage in there.
secondly guest, sounds like a faulty pressure switch or even a small hole in the pressure pipe, thats why your machine will not stop filling.
hope these help
please dont forget to rate the helpfulness of this reply thanks kj
Machine banging when in fast spin
if the noise is coming from inside the drum then it will be the bear ings if this machine is less than 3years old then this is what bust hotpoint they changed the bearing setup and put a spring on it which its the spring that is the complete failure u need to take the complete drum out strip this put the new bearing set in but without the spring this wil put at least 2-3years on the bearings its a big job and costs about £120 to fix u r accually better off buying a completely different washer no good are hotpoints anymore m8
