Make sure there is no water left in washer, and try door again.
If it still will not open, then remove top cover, and force door lock open from inside at the front.
You will possibly damage the door lock by doing this, but i am afraid there is no other way of doing it.

Pipe burst water got into machine.we dried it out

Remove top cover, and lower rear cover of washer.
Get a hair dryer, and blow the hot air into the washer at every point you can gain access to.
If it still does not work, then it could be that one of the electrical components has suffered damage due to water getting on to it.
Good luck.

Hotpoint wf210 door light flashing does not wash

I am not a repair professional. I am a 78 year old man who has been making his own repairs for about 50 years. So the washer or dryer ID doesn't mean much to me. I came to fixya looking for a schematic for an really old AM/FM radio and found that more than 4,700 people were asking for help with a washer repair. I recently had a washer repair of my own and at that time I found an excellent video which showed me how to take my machine apart. This video made it possible for me to do my own repair. If you are repairing a dryer or a front load washer I suggest you
go to www.applianceaid.com where they have very good step by step trouble shooting and repair information on both washers and dryers as well as other appliances. If you have a direct drive top load washer and need help taking it apart this video is an early christmas present. I was so impressed with it that when I saw all these people needing help, I wanted to tell them about it. If you look at the back of your washer and the panel is solid (no small inspection plate to remove which would indicate you have a v-belt drive) chances are you have a direct drive and this video is just what you need. You can see it at www.acmehowto.com You will probably still need help in determining what the trouble is and how to fix it. After viewing the video or if you have a v-belt drive rather than a direct drive, I suggest you go to www.applianceaid.com where they have very good
trouble shooting and repair nformation on most
washers and dryers. I think you'll find what you need
there. Don't worry about the timer, they hardly ever
go bad. Good luck with it. If I have helped you, please rate my advice on fixya.

How to change heater element in Ariston a1635uk

not to hard, take the bottom rear pannel off the washer, look at the bottom of the drum were the water drains out, look for an oval shaped plate with possibly 2 or 3 wires and possibly a small plug going to it remove these, loosen the centre nut that takes pressure off the seal and it will pull out. best of luck

My Hotpoint Aquarius WF210 washing machine drum is not rotating

I think the belt has come off or has been damaged.

To open the machine slide out the machine. On the back panel lower 1/3 you will see a plastic panel remove the screws and the panel will come away. Inside you will see the belt. I suspect you will need to reattach the belt of remove it and buy a replacement.

My door is stuck in the closed position and will

Ironically I just had this happen. Pull the bottom panel off, remove the bottom two screws on the face plate and pull the latch release down (little white plastic Piece under the latch). This bypasses the electronic latch. To drain the washer, remove the plastic cover from the trap and the water will drain. Caution, this is very messy. Make sure you have a bucket and towels!

Water wont drain from Machine or go onto spin cycle

either the level control switch has become blocked or faulty or the drain pump has become stuck.

disconnect from the mains and gain access to the rear look for a circular unit with two or three electrical connections and a plastic tube. this is the level control.follow the tube to its start and you will find a plastic connection that goes into the wash drum, remove the plastic tube from the switch end and blow into it. if there is no restistance then the system is OK at the drum end. next reconnect the tube to the switch and remove the opposite end, very gently blow down the tube and you should hear the switch operate. Test wether the switch is working by putting a meter across the switch and blow into the tube. if all of this is OK then the drain pump is at fault. locate the drain pump. it is connected to the outlet tube, try turning by hand. if it does not rotate smoothly remove the clips holding the pump body together and clear the obstruction.
