The hand sets probably need to go through the 'registration' process with the base station. Look up the steps on how to do this in your manual.

One thing that the manual sometimes does not highlight clearly is that first you need to press and hold down a button on the main base station for a while until it beeps. Then you can go through the menu on the hand set to complete the registration process.

After searching the net for a 'FREE' manual, I decided to just rely on my own instincts as a technician. Scroll through the up and down buttons until you start to get a menu. Press 'OK' at the menu option you want and so on. It's fairly simple and intuitive. You'll stumble your way through til you get the logic behind it. To unlock the Doro keypad, hold down the star key for 5 seconds or untill you hear a bleep and the keypad is unlocked.

it sounds like you may not have any dial tone in the house. some phones have a light come on when the phone isn't recieving dial tone.[in your case the anntena] you can try plugging a corded phone into different jacks in the house.there maybe a box [called a nid] on the outside or in the basement/garage where you can plug a phone directly into it bypassing all the jacks in the house [there could be a problem in the house] if still no dial tone ,call your phone company

Check that you have the larger power adaptor connected to the base unit.

double posted but now a not complete model told a land line. posted o cell phones wrongly. DORO PhoneEasy 100W Duo - cordless phone with caller ID? or the model 110 or the model 115 we can not guess the model numbers the the microphone is failing did you get 2 phones in the kit new (as is common) and both fail. is the battery still good.? see this hole, , clean it carefully, of food or spittle. sludge. that is the MIC.

Location is a big consideration here. It appears there is a problem with signal strength that might be the phone. The network is not seeing the phone.

You can't save it from a trip through the Maytag twins. I hope you had insurance.
