My photos and videos were not deleted, the phone (nokia 3220) just won't come back on again! how do i retrive the media?

That depends on whether you saved your media to the SD card or just to the phone's memory. If it went to the SD card then you can recover it all with an external card reader. Otherwise the data may be lost
