There is no problem with your handset ....This problem is due to the loose contact by the mic ...
if you are good at opening the handset then just open the handset and then have a check near the mic ....
then try reconnecting everything .......

if problem persists then replace the mic with the new piece ...
the mic too much cheap to purchase .... but while purchasing just tell your handset model and take the compatible mic .........

after replacing there will be no problem at all from any end .......
your set is fine ... you dont have to worry too much ...
just spend a very very little money to take a new mic and replace it..
if you are not good at opening then just visit the technician ..........

If the battery is charged, you should just need to hold down the red (end call) key for a few seconds and the phone should power up.

WIggle the tiny flex cable connector
near the hinge.. still no luck ????

Buy another V220 on ebay

gently take the phone apart and sub in the whole
screen shell and front of keypad.

DO NOT TRY TO remove the screen from the body section..
you will destroy to the teeny tiny flex cable.

Put your phone in a bag, put it in the freezer...
It will might work until it warms up again..

It might be your screen, it might be the body of the phone...

undo what you did, re-assemble the parts phone,
learn how to flash the spare phone..

flash back to V 364 firmware
run unlocker
flash unlock firmware
enter dummy unlock
reflash to v365 firmware

Dont donate your sim card. REMOVE IT!
They get a new one when they sign up to a provider..
clear everything else manually..

this is the programing mode where the software was originally loaded. Try to remove the battery while the phone is turned on. Sometimes this will reload and allow the phone to work normally. If not contact motorola for warranty info.

Phone may be locked to a certain network tmobile/at&t...etc

You can get it unlocked by calling your service provider (they give it to you for free if you've been with them for a while)

I think the main body of the phone is dead.. you have a spare
screen, time for another phone.. Time to give up on it..
