Hi, The problem with my Monitor is that after the

That LCD monitor uses a fluorescent backlight, and the symptom you are seeing probably means the backlight is failing. There are two possible problems:
1) Likely: The inverter board is failing. The inverter creates the high voltage needed to run the backlight and can shut down after a short time if the board is failing.
2) Less likely: The fluorescent tubes themselves are failing. This usually requires replacing the whole LCD screen, although experienced technicians can disassemble the LCD screen and change the bulbs. This is much riskier.
The best bet is to replace the whole monitor. If you are willing to take apart the monitor and try a repair, you may be able to get an inverter and fix the problem.
Sellers on eBay usually carry a lot of models of inverters and may be able to sell you one and guide you through a replacement. However, this is a moderately advanced repair.

Thin vertical colour bars from top to bottom

Welcome to FixYa,

Below are the top reasons why there are "colour bars" running across the screen :
  1. Corrupted video driver
  2. Changes in hardware configuration (display)
  3. Monitor issue (hardware)
In order to determine if it's hardware/software issue, all you need to do is to boot to BIOS and check if the problem replicates. Depending on system, you can go to the BIOS screen by tapping "F2" or "DEL" key repeatedly as soon as you turn on the computer until you see a different screen.

If the problem is present while in BIOS, then definitely the monitor needs to be repaired by an authorized repair center. Otherwise, video driver update or Operating system re-install can resolve this problem.

Hope this helps,

Thank you for using FixYa.

Hi, my monitor Vs17 silver, don't start even one

OK well what has happened i suspect, is that your set has been "Spiked" from a power disturbance, and this has damaged either the PSU, or an internal high voltage component, or both, and now, the Protection Circuitry in the SMPS unit, is "Sensing" a potential "Catastrophic fault", that may cause a fire an explosion or both, and accordingly the set MUST be shut down, so the protection circuitry does exactly that.
Your best bet, is to contact a local or head office of the Monitors manufacturer, and ask them for a referral to an authorised servicing center. When contact is made with them, ask for a "Quote" for the repair, before allowing any repair work to be undertaken. This then at least will give you an idea as to costings and you can then make an informed decision as to repair or replace, as often these days i find in my shop anyway, many repairs can be very expensive, and often it would be better putting any monies that would have been spent on repair towards a NEW unit with a warranty

Monitor doesn't show anything everytime

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electic extensions or just replace them they are probably faulty a computer needs its connections to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error hope this helps don
