There is no circuit breaker in this dryer as such.
Establish that you have got power to the m/c, if you have, then could be faulty door switch, or you may have inadvertantly pulled a wire off somswhere.
Try the dryer in another socket and make sure you know that the fuse is a good one.

Hot Point Dryer does not

Feel the outer cover at rear of the dryer at the bottom,if it starts to feel warm then the heater is working, the buzzing noise could be the motor trying to start, or noise from the relay, if the heater does not come on then could be timer faulty or faulty start relay. It is a a process of elmination.

Dryer element not working

If the water light is on and you have wasted money on a heater it's more likely to be a stuck float switch which cuts out the heater. Why don't you get the people who make it to repair it rather than DABBLE and get yourself in a mess??

Could be coins in the drum.  Might also be a bad roller bearing.  Hard to tell.

There is something binding and taking your motor out. chances are the motor may have failed. It's called thermal overload. it shuts down as a safety precaution...With ge...the front slide bearing...the white area that the drum rides on is worn out and ....probably the rear drum bear is worn down too...GE is generally expensive to fix...

most likely, there is a blockage in your exhaust. take it apart and check every inch from your dryer to the outdoors. i clean mine once a year, it keeps the dryer running efficiently. when lint backs up in there, the heat cannot get out and there is a sensor that will shut off the heating element when it gets to a certain temp, so your clothes will take a long time to dry

No heat in dryer

if you can see your heating element, use a meter to test for continuity. remove the clips or wires attached to the terminals of the heating element and put the probes of the meter.
the reading should be close to short since it is a heater. maybe 1 to 10 ohms.

tnx 4 using fixya,

TDC 30 tumble dryer

To test the heating element you need to access it by taking apart the back panel, and test it for continuity using a multimeter.

There are also a couple of fuses/circuit breakers that you should test.

Entering the model number here you get the exploded view, and replacement parts.

Try Float chamber behind water container (Where it snaps into), Wet lint may be clogging the micro switch hence simulating a full conatiner leading to no heat output.
