Hi, My name is Kevin and I may suggest that the inverter be replaced. Usually when you replace the tubes the inverter should be replace also. It is hard to find replacement parts for some of them but they do make
universal ones that work with most
monitors. Now we need to know if it is bad or the tubes are now bad. The tubes last on an average of 33,000 hours. They are not easy to replace if you have never done this before. Here is a link to the same type of solution. When you get to the tubes they will be black on the ends like a normal
florescent bulb if they are bad or hook them ut to the new inverter to see if they light.
http://www.fixya.com/support/t859266-koss_kld2700_lcd_tv_no_picture All lcd monitors work
somewhat the same , as I can see from your
measurements , you seem to now
something about electronics so you can try this yourself. It will cost about $50.00 to
DIY or $100.00 for someone else.
I have purchased from the site in
hong kong and
lcd parts.com and they are reliable. You can take the
screen apart , on the top and bottom of the LCD you will find encased in a aluminum frame a long cf tube that looks like a long tube
florescent light bulb but the thickness of less than a ball point pen refill and averages in
lenght of the screen size. They are VERY fragile and does not take much to break in half.....I hope you can get it going again and as
always you really feel good when you do it yourself. You learn
allot about it . I know purchase only
Samsung with the built in LED lights , last longer then the tubes by far . When you tear into the monitor, set up a static work station with a wrist strap and plenty of light , paper, pens, notes and even take step by step photos works well. Good luck and I hope this helped you some.
