Flashing blue and black on the screen
Hi there , if you can activate menu on screen , then try to change the video input source to something like VGA , and be sure that You've connected some video source with VGA cable prior to this. Sometime when there is no input signal (especially digital like HDMI) it flashes like that. Hope this helps .Cheers.

Ps3 resolution
HDMI to VGA (converter issue) might be something else to but usually your converter might been overheat coz it usually have tiny circuit in the system, or the converter system is not for gaming process.. try for another converter (for gaming)..

No sound coming from VS13239. We think our cat
The static electricity from your cat's fur may have damaged some of the connectors to the built in speakers. Try unplugging the audio cables and replugging them in. If that doesn't work, you may have to get a set of external speakers.

No display
Hi,If power problem then check you power connector. If power ok or display problem then you follow instruction:-> Check CPU power, proper coming or not.> HDD on or running ok conduction, if HDD not detect proper then not display.> Check RAM slot or RAM ok conduction.> Disconnect all power supply and some movement wait then reconnect all section and power on.I hope display coming.Thanks

No idea to be honest i think just junk it ,unlike old fashioned valve operated TVs this modern equipment is junk once it stops working
