crt monitor uses.vga port do you any laptops you can plug in and see if monitor actually works ... recently built pc so does that mean you shoved in another graphics card if so does your graphics card also have vga port, if it does try that

No sound in my ViewSonic N2010
If not muted, check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis.
