I dropped my panasonc dvd
I would have it sent to Panasonic to repair it, it seems the laser assembly might be out of it's original place because of the shock it received upon impact. I also suggest you don't try putting any more disks in there, the scratching noise could be the laser rubbing against the bottom of the disk.

I need windows 7 usb
Hello,
While there is no software for windows 7 the camcorder will work on older computers.
windows 7 has usb support and it should allow you to see the camcorder in the "computer" folder that you find from the desktop or from the start menu, the camcorder will be named as "removable storage device" If it does not work right away when plugged in, you need to find a older computer to use it with.
unfortunately panasonic has not made newer software for this camcorder.

Need a driver for panasonic
Hi,
This Model is not Compatible with Vista. Even i have seen certain websites that might ask you to pay money and then either tell you that the file is not available.
I am Sorry, but as of now Panasonic have not introduced any drivers for Vista for this Model, be it 32 bit or 64 bit.

Hi there,
Well first of all you try changing the battery of your camcorder, mostly the problem occurs due to a bad battery. post comments if further you have the same problem.

My camera shuts down whenever
Either there is an internal faulty component such as overheated capacitor, bad chipset, or you could have a bad ribbon cable or connection from battery to main circuit board. They do get brittle and become loose.. How good does the battery hold charge? Are the battery contacts clean?

My viewfinder and LCD monitor show either
you should change the flex wire which connect LCD with camcorder. I bought it in the repair shop and did it by miself. It's very common problem with LCD.

Problem of recognition with vista 64-bit
sir,
you need a driver for your palmcorder. because without that the computer won't recognise the hardware. To download the diver please goto download.com and in the search tab, type the model no. of your palmcorder.

What does Check record tab mean?
the term "tab" are used for sometime for "switch" and "button". So from general information, I think the camcorder has some kind of switch malfunction. Usually record button (toggles on and off) may be the problem if all other functions in PLAY mode is working. Also you may have "protective record tap" on tape may be changed. Hope this helps. -james
