Backlight stays on after power button is pressed.

Hi and welcome to FixYa!

Will the monitor still work? The problem is just when you turn it off the backlight will stay on. If that's the case try to press hold the power button for 5mins. on and off. This can help for the power button may have been stuck.

Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

How do i use Fuji 19

You don't need software, just connect the monitor's video cable to the ThinkPad's video port. Then power up the monitor first then the boot up the ThinkPad and the video will divert automatically to the monitor.

When computer is on screen will flash then go off

rosetatai, You failed to tell me any HISTORY of your unit. I can only tell you that unit has possible bad "switch-mode-power-supply" and need to be repaired. Read more of my FIXYA profile and that of other tech's to see if your complaint closely matches up to their's. Then do a repost to original with more info on your unit as to age and "on" hours it has seen. Is your pc working fine with a substitute KNOWN GOOD mopnitor attached? 12fixlouie

Not working

it could be possible that the pwr cord might have gone bad. change it .
before doing that try disconnecting the pwr cord from the back of monitor and hold the pwr button for 30 sec. connect the pwr cord properly and then restart the comp. if this does not work then check with other pwr outlet. if this doesnot work then replace the monitor its a problem with the monitor and needs to be replaced// nothing is wrong with the computer//

How do I change the resolution on my fuji plus

Monitor resolution is done at the PC, not at the monitor, right click on the desk top, slect properties, display property will come up, select setting. You should set it to match your monitor native resolution for best picture.

Just as the others, stays on for a couple secs then

Point a flashlight at the screen when it shuts down and see if an image is still there. If so, it may be the backlight inverter. You can try to get the part, but most shops would charge you more than a replacement.

To verify, before you pitch it, try it with another monitor and see if the same thing occurs. Ran into a case where something downloaded reset the power-saving settings for the backlight.
