I am using Hansol 730E

Being a rare tube monitor i am inclined to say it is nearing end of life. You have done the right thing by moving around unless you are moving other magnetic or power source items with it. Have you tried connecting to another computer - subbed out cables to eliminate that issue? testing on another computer who help determine if monitor or not. might be video card??/ since you are having DX issues I would start there. There is not much more you can do that is not dangerous - ie - increasing the voltage etc..

Monitor wattage

Spec:
http://www.hansol.nl/eng/730e.html

Since the company will nor even list the power consumption, You can make an estimate by reading the voltage and the current consumtion on the label, multiply voltage by current will give you wattage, but since the monitor is not linear load but reactive load, the power factor will not be 1 but usually about 0.6.
IE, 100V X 1AMP = 100VA. 100VA X PF OF 0.6 = 60WATTS.

Hansol 730e , power led on , no display

check the cable connected on your monitor, see if this is fix and secure, on the other end of the cable, see also if this is properly connected to the video card.

If there is still no display, then my suggestion is you bring the monitor to a credible technician, and see if warranty is still available.

Problem in monitor the screen doesnot get full wide of it by control panel

Assuming your running Windows as the operating system on your computer, go into Display Properties and set the refresh rate to something other than 60 hz or default. On my XP computer this can be done by right clicking on the desktop, clicking Properties -> Settings -> Advanced -> Monitor. Anything in the 70, 72, or 75 hz range should work fine. If this does not fix the problem and the monitor is out of warranty trash it and get another one.

This sounds as if you havent got the correct resolution of your desktop. Either there will be an auto adjust button to press on your monitor menu or you will need to Right click on your desktop>properties>settings Tab and change resolution to 1024 x 768 or similair to change the desktop size, or maybe reduce to 800 x 600 then click apply.

Low width

After checking these monitors I found that the capacitor next to the coil near the loptx was open circuit. The coil gets very hot and breaks down the 5n6 capacitor. I have replaced the capacitor and I now put it underneath the chassis as there is little room to move it away from the coil.

Monitor displaying out of range message

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!

This usually happens when you select a resolution or a refresh rate that is beyond the monitor range. For example if your monitor supports a max. resolution of 1024x768 then if you give it a signal of 1600x1200 it will display out of range.

Solution of this problem is to reduce the resolution or refresh rate frequency.

Changing screen resolution in Windows XP: First right-click on the desktop and then left click on Properties from the menu that appears.

The display properties dialogue box will appear as shown in fig 1.1 below, click on the settings tab at the top right of the box.

The areas worth noting are:

Screen Resolution
This slide bar is what you use to change the resolution, the options you have will depend on your graphics card and monitor, but the standard options are 800x600, 1024x768 and 1152x864.

Normally the default (in XP) is set to 800x600 which means the display will be 800 pixels wide and 600 pixels high.

How to Change the Screen Refresh Rate of Your Monitor loadTOCNode(2, 'summary');
  1. Click Start, click Control Panel, click Appearance and Themes, and then click Display.

Alternatively, right-click the desktop, and then click Properties.
  2. Click the Settings tab, and then click Advanced.
  3. Click the Monitor tab, and then click the screen refresh rate that you want to use.
NOTE:
  • The default refresh rate setting is 60 Hertz (HZ); however, your monitor may support a higher setting. Check your manufacturer's documentation for information about the settings that your monitor supports.
  • If you use a higher refresh rate, you can reduce the rate that your screen flickers; however, if you specify a refresh rate that is too high for your monitor, your screen may become unusable and your hardware may be damaged.
  • Changes to the refresh rate affect all users that log on to the computer.

My computer froze while I was transfering files

In such cases the buttons do not work. Go to start->Control Panel->Display->Settings->Advanced->Monitor->Properties->Drivers. Here you will find an option of Uninstall drivers. Select it. and close all windows. Reboot the PC. Start->Control Panel->System->Hardware->Device Manager->Action->Scan for New HW. Windows will scan for new display and load its drivers. Your display would be alright.
