No built in speakers. There is a sound bar that you can get the attaches to the bottom of the screen to add speaers to the unit but it is sold separately.

First, find a sturdy flat surface. You will be laying the monitor on it's face - face down so get a towel, blanket or something soft to cushion the monitor on the flat surface. Lay the monitor face down on the whatever cushion you chose.There are two black machine screws on the back on the plate that is part of the stand. Remove these screws and the stand will slide free.

These monitor had a problem with there power supply. I have 2 of these and both had same problem . If you go on e-bay you should still find people who will fix just the power supply or sell you a kit or for that matter just the one ic that causes the problem . (you would replace bad caps you self) If you replace just the bad caps you will find it still will not work with out that ic

More likely to have shorted out SWITCH MODE POWER SUPPLY IC, very common in this power supply. You can replace the power supply or buy a repair kit for this power supply on EBAY.
You should at least finr out if your are getting the 12vdc at the power supply output connector.

should be on the menu on front of monitor ,,with options to change that,,and check control panel on cpu,,make sure its set rght,,for widescreen or regular

More likely to have bad power supply due to shorted out IC in the SMPS.

It is going out yes needs repair

Most of the thime it is the SMP IC that went out.

(Please be advise that if you don't have the knowledge, the proper skills and the right tools to open the back cover of your monitor and replace its part...don't risk it...
Otherwise, bring your unit to a credible technician and avail of warranty if there is any.....) If you have guts.. then do the following steps..

You said your monitor will blink but no picture display... well, there are possible reasons why this problem occur..

1. Open the back cover of your monitor..Check the power supply section for possible loose connections and blown capacitors.. Resolder any loose terminal connection on the pcb. Check for any blown capacitor, replace the capacitor with exact value, and also replace any bulging capacitor..If you have successfully replace the parts you can try to turn it on and connect the vga cable in it to the video card of your computer. Turn on also the cpu, if the monitor led turn green and the display came out..that fixed it.

2. In case you have successfully repaired the power supply section and the led of the monitor stays green.. then the problem will be in the inverter board section....Turn off your monitor... open the back cover...on the inverter board section.. check and replaced burnt or overheating high voltage transformer..if one or more of this overheats, it is enough to affect the supply current from the power supply section and that may cause to blow your capacitor...If the ballast transformer is working fine the last thing to check is the backlight inverter (the light that illuminate causing display in your monitor) Replace any busted lamp.. that should fix the black screen on your monitor. ..

Sounds like the monitor cable has a short or loose connection at computer or monitor side.

You need to check the output voltage of the power supply module to see if the 12vdc output is swtiching on and off, it can be power supply failure or it is sensing short circuits, it can also be the inverter board.

Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). If there is no power or "Led" indicator on the power button, try plugging the power cable to a different power point. If still won't turn-on, try changing the power cable. If still no power. It only means the LCD is already deffective.

The common problem in this model is failed power supply (switch mode IC shorted out). You can get the repair kit or buy new supply.

well try to plug any other monitor . if other monitor works fine then it's ur lcd monitor display prob. or ur motherboard display driver problem
