Just take the PCB out of the unit, if its a mechanical switch just hit it and leave it on and reassemble, if its a push button switch just drill a hole next to the switch and use a non metalic object to turn the unit on :-)

the problem has to be from the display inverter board. The display inverter board is responsible from bringing display on the screen. Now since is no longer display, then it mean it has become defective.Get a philips screw driver, disassemble the unit in order to get to the display screen. You will see a kind of flex or wire connected to the screen. The board where the wire/flex is coming from into the screen is the display inverter board. The board is rectangular in shape.Remove the board, take it to an electronics parts store within your vicinity for exact replacement and the unit should display again.

Le voyant de la lampe clignote
Si l'?cran s'assombrit, que la couleur semble inhabituelle ou que le t?moin LAMP ? l'avant du t?l?viseur clignote, il est temps de remplacer la lampe par une nouvelle (non fournie).
Utilisez uniquement un Sony XL-2100U ou XL-2100 de remplacement pour votre t?l?viseur. L'utilisation de toute autre lampe peut endommager votre t?l?viseur ? projection LCD. Contactez votre revendeur Sony pour une lampe de rechange.
Cliquez ici pour t?l?charger des instructions ?tape par ?tape pour remplacer la lampe de votre t?l?viseur.
Remarque: Avant de remplacer la lampe, mettez l'unit? principale hors tension. Attendez quelques minutes, puis d?branchez le cordon d'alimentation. (Le ventilateur de refroidissement continuera de souffler pendant environ deux minutes apr?s la mise hors tension.)
Assurez-vous de laisser la lampe refroidir compl?tement avant de la retirer. La surface de la lampe reste extr?mement chaude pendant au moins 30 minutes apr?s la mise hors tension.

hi there might be...first go to my computer, then locate the dvd drive, right click that and then properties, then click the hardware tab at top then in the list locate dvd drive then at bottom right click on properties then click dvd region and then you should be able to change it....hope that helped

You'll need a decoder from a program like cyber dvd or win dvd. Nero also has one and sonic too. If the drive came with a dvd player program install it. You can also find them through windows media player at microsoft's website but they will cost a few bucks. Search the internet for dvd player software you may find one for free. I hope this helps you. If you are like me you might have a program in your pile of software cds'.
